I'm not a melee expert, but isn't shine also a reflector? To use against projectiles like falco's lasers?

Kinda, but not exactly. You can reflect falco laser, but it's hard to move after if and falco can play around the reflector pretty easily depending on where it's fired

@JackoByter using shine in that way is only good in a few instances, typically just avoiding laser is better. Sadly there's no miracle solution to simultaneously beat laser and falco's options after.
