The first section of the video gives a guide for anyone who has not played this fasnacht event in fallout 76 before and shows the locations of all the protectron marchers, their associated tasks that need to be completed and what you need to do.

I was hoping it would be either round based or defending objectives while taking down high priority targets. I'm still enjoying the event but it feels a bit dull, maybe things will pick up with the event changing next week? (I heard each week they mix things up, which might be new? Idk I'm sorry I'm still learning 😅)

You can also find the "man mask" in Fort Defiance. Just search the rooms (was an asylum) until you find it sitting on the floor.

You can also get the man mask in the Asylum. Since i farm asylum uniforms , i hit thete as well every couple of days . As soon as you enter the asylum, take the hall on the right . Follow to the end and go up the stairs on your right. At the second floor go straight to the first right . Second door on your left and the mask will be on the floor at the back of the room 😊

Nice vid showing all of the masks however I wouldn't advise soloing fasnacht day like I just did with all robots saved all I got was that sun mask lol, the 4 legendary cores were nice plus the chameleon forest scout armor chest piece.

Had a few events lose a marcher last time because only one or two of us were actually present while a dozen were AFK even using friendly fire to keep them alive to the end, the marchers get downed pretty easily if mobbed. Had the site nuked a few times during the event so as soon as a nuke alert comes through I check to see if Helvetia is the target. I hop worlds if I see a lot of people present at Helvetia before the event. I'm only going to do the event to get the new plans as I'm over the event - it's just not worth grinding for rare masks when so many people AFK.

I totally understand your point and hope that BGS will eventually do something to combat this as it is irritating when this happens as the world can be full so no one else can join to help but if 80% of the players are afk it's super hard to keep the marchers all alive unless the remaining player work together all equipped with flamers and friendly fire!

@@Dropla they prob have sneak perks etc so the enemies won't see them unless they move. Other armour prefixes will also help if they are standing still etc I'm afraid.

I wouldn't let it get to you, they are not going to effect the loot that you receive as every player has their own rng loot pool so they are not taking anything away from you. The only annoyance is that they are not helping to complete the event if only a few people are active and most are afk, but then if you just jump to a world where there are loads of people active then you'll be fine anyway.

@@GoldenGek Hopping worlds during the event can be problematic as so many people jumping in around the time the event starts that I have had times when it couldn't find an available world. Average time for spinning up a new world is 2 minutes. So new worlds get spun up in response to demand but this can take time while players are 'bouncing' against the queue or each other. Player A tries to hop, Players B, C, D and E in the meantime have started up to join the event. World allocated has empty 'slots' but then when the scheduler tries to allocate players from the queue the world might become full. I check the world I am on to see what teams are on and if there is a cluster of people at Helvetia who aren't moving about and avoid joining worlds just before the event starts.

6:43 2* There's the "psycho squidward" and then the monster mask, or as i call it "OOKABOOMALASHI" and you can get it from a glitch in Monster Mash, and event that can spawn in the Cranberry Valley (the red region)

lol I have no clue what the psyco squidward is but the reason I didn't include the monster mash mask is that although you can pick it up and wear it during and after the Monster Mash event, you can't actually keep the mask and it will disappear from your character when you log out.

So, in total, how many bells are currently active in the game. All I have are the Fasnacht bell, Lincoln Bell, Round bell, and Tapered Bell. I’ve yet to see a Herdsman Bell like that implemented

I've only been playing this fallout 76 for about 4 months or more but this silly fasnacht event has drained my thrill for playing any more such events. Over 50 goes at it and apart from a lot of cores, just crap masks. First and last, great vids by the way 👍

awesome and good luck. In case you weren't aware, if you get the recipe for cutting fluid this is made from 2 acid, 8 bone, 2 p.water and 3 steel but breaks down to 3 oil and 1 steel so is a great way to turn junk to oil.

I was excited for this event up until I learned the mask I wanted was a damned atom shop only and its likely not gonna return in the shop because they already cycled out the current set of Masks. The Mask in question is the Ogua.

Just show up to the event and pray to Todd almighty that you might get lucky! I ran over 100 last time the event was on and didn't get a single glowing one so the chances are small!

The normal rare masks usually sell for 30k caps but I would imagine that the glowing ones will be even more desirable, unfortunately most of the common ones are pretty worthless although some of the new uncommon ones will prob be going for 10-15k I would guess

And if you're not strapped for Caps I'd suggest holding the Glowing/Rare until Halloween. People will defo pay a 5 - 10% price increase on the normal price to have a Glowing Scorchbeast Queen (per se) during all of October.

yeah, that was one of the first rare rewards and it only fits the t45 as there weren't many other PA then. However it is a non tradable and rare item so you may as well keep it for display as it does look cool

@@GoldenGek no I've gotten the actual father winter pa mask that wasnt tradable but I was able to apply the skin to a mask i found on power armor suit in the wild and then sell it in my vendor. same thing with the Red Terror skin I was able to apply it to a lmg that I picked up off of an enemy

that is very odd and def report this to Bethesda as a support ticket as they are pretty quick to respond. Not meaning to sound rude but the rewards will appear in the apparel and notes tab so make sure to tripple check before making the ticket and hope you get it sorted!

Such wishful thinking ! Bugthesda had time to add more masks and muck up the loot pool even more, change the parade and make a bunch of severely over priced items for the shop but couldn't be bothered to do anything about all the afk players. Expect it to be nuked on a regular basis.

No, this won't have an update attached. It will just be like a normal Tuesday Atomic Shop update, so you won't notice the change but the event will be active.

it is not 7.91% I have try to complated over 20 times without any single robots death. But there is still no Glowing mask rewards Damn It probably changed, maybe 1% or 0.5%

About 2 days after I had released the guide the devs changed the event so that you no longer have to keep 5 robots alive to get a rare mask drop, so you can still have a chance of a rare mask even with only 1 marcher alive. The chance for a rare mask (any) is 5% The chance for a Uncommon mask (any) is 71.25% and the chance for a Common mask (any) is 23.75%. However if you are after a particular mask the odds for a rare are 0.238% per mask, for an Uncommon is 4.75% per mask and a Common is 4.75% per mask. Therefore, in theory, if you ran 100 events you should have 5 rare masks.

Yeah, I did leave that out for a reason though as you can't actually keep it. You can wear it but can't transfer it to your stash and once you log out it removes it from your character. 😪 sad times as I love that mask lol

Bought Fallout First and storage is still maxed out, gold bullion was about to be maxed out until the sale this weekend when I bought all of the Service Set. Script always maxing out. Caps always maxing out. Bought all the useful blueprints & camp blueprints. Item caps and storage space are just insane for an open world survival game. It's like I'm playing Diablo IV.

Well that is just RNG I'm afraid, there is only a 5% chance to get one of the 21 rare masks, hence the reason they are rare. So to get any specific rare mask you have a 0.238% chance!! This is why they are worth so much on resale! Good luck though

Ran the event twice, unlocked the new candle camp item and a beer stein, second time around a glowing Minotaur. For some reason I thought the new candle camp item was going to be useful, like generating beeswax maybe? lol It’s just a small thick candle.. looks cool but, already seen players selling it for crazy caps! (20k+) It’s a friggin small candle that doesn’t do anything but generate a little bit of light. Don’t be fooled 😂

Awesome, and yes the sneaky devs at Bethesda changed the rules a few days ago so that now only 1 robot needs to remain alive to have a chance to get a rare mask! However, they forgot to mention this to anyone!! Congratulations though that is cool!

what platform are you on as I know there is a recognised bug that apparently they are working on a fix for. You should submit a bug report though as now it's been recognised by Bethesda you may get some rewards back once it's fixed.

Do bear in mind though that you're Internet connection will also play a factor as its a live service game so constantly needs to communicate with the servers

I would disagree, the fasnacht event is a great replica for an actual traditional event and whilst the items are silly the event itself doesn't hinder bug fixes. I think we have had a tonne of good new content recently and it's also been free as well, although the community indirectly pays for it through the atomic shop (daily - feels that way anyway) updates which clearly works well using fomo to increase revenue! it's when players crouch and walk in a corner so the game thinks they are there but they are not actually helping toward completing the event but still get a reward but the game doesn't log them out as they are technically moving.

But I don't like fasnacht AT ALL no more. I came here just to say that I just left the event, this hour, and there were 18 people at the event, and not ONE of them were active. I got to the end and failed cuz of it! There need to be a way to stop people from doin that! I wasted my damn time AND ammo!

Yes, it's a good idea when you load on to check the map and if they're are lots of white dots in helvitia not moving, switch servers. Checkpoints would be a good idea, or the need to be part of a group. The prob is, the way the rewards work many people just don't have the time to play. I've done about 85 events so far and had 1 rare mask this season!!

@@jonboy2305 I understand it is irritating if there are so many afk players that there are not enough people helping complete the event but other than that it doesn't actually effect the reward you get etc. Bethesda changed the rules so that only 1 marcher has to remain alive to still get the chance of a rare reward so I would just ignore them, switch servers if there are too many etc but don't let it get to you as it's not worth stressing over as it's doubtful BGS are going to do anything to stop it.

To be honest, I'm pretty sick of Fasnacht already. Bethesda has screwed up all the seasonal events this year and keep running them too often. I wanted the treasure hunter event and mutated events but we keep getting crap like this. The loot pool for masks is absolute garbage and nothing has been done about all the afk people. That means the 2 players that actually participate will have a harder time completing just to get 87 sun masks, 26 berets and a ton of irritation for the next 2 weeks straight. Most of the new masks look ridiculous and a freaking unicorn?? REALLY??!!! Next we will have bedazzled vault suits in the game.
