Wow, this is really well explained and produced! What are the telephone lenses you are using? Side note; a video on how to do that kind of bird and wildlife photography, with one of those excellent photos as the thumbnail, could be a winner. I have never been able to achieve good results with birds and wildlife and I don’t know why.

Thanks! I use the Canon 400mm EF f/5.6 L and the Canon EF-S 55-250 lenses for my birding and wildlife. Birds are tough to get a good shot of when first starting out, but you figure it out once you do it a few times. I did 1 birding video on my channel, but it did not do so well. It was not an instructional video... Just a go out and shoot vlog type. Maybe I'll do another one soon, but explain the "how to photograph" part instead.

@@laurajaye9 I'll see what I can do. Having the gear in the studio talking about it is one thing... getting out and shooting a video explaining how to use it is another.

@@faspete2nd Do you have a video over exposure bracketing? At the moment we have snow here in the Netherlands and I heard using bracketing is a handy tip?
@faspete2nd3 жыл бұрын
@@bobdecalonne6809 unfortunately I don't. I've never used exposure bracketing in the camera. If I'm not mistaken the HDR mode does the bracketing for you??? Not to sure.

@@faspete2nd It helps a ton that I'm using an M6mii but I still think your calm and clear style would help someone with any camera. I'm also interested in how you get your wildlife shots. I'm just not quick enough or maybe quiet enough to get them.

@@CountryMindful I'll see what I can put together. I've have a few R6 vs M6 videos in the works right now, but it's good to know what people are interested in seeing.

Good video 👍 A mode is a good starting spot. Spend money on the camera and take time to master it 👍

Great walkthrough on the different priorities 😊 I alway shoot in manual so haven’t tried them out actually 😊 I agree with My Camera Bag! Make a video where you explain how you take those crisp photos 😊👍🏼

I use manual most of the time and shutter priority on occasion depending on light and how active the birds and other wildlife are on the day of shooting.

Disappointed with the noise level at ISO 3200, especially on a camera that claims to be "useful" up to ISO 40,000. At first, I wondered if I just got a bad copy, but after seeing this, I guess not.
@faspete2nd2 жыл бұрын
It has been my experience with the M6 Mark II or any APS-C sensor. You have to keep the ISO as low as you can.
