interesting ive seen so many people say not to put the sump directly below the fuel basket. I got this same sump and fass 165g ill be installing in a few days

Do you have specific instructions for my 2020 Ford F350 6.7 for using the new sump vs dropping the fuel tank as far as the correct way to plumb the sump and what to do with the Ford lift pump in the fuel tank & existing fuel lines? I hope that makes sense.

Does this affect fuel level gauge since you’re moving the bowl up within the tank to mount the sump bracket underneath it?

Great question, and this shouldn't affect the fuel gauge since you'll retain the factory float and level sensor in the tank.

Does the fuel tank shield need to be removed, modified ? to clear this and the lines ?

Great question, and yes the fuel tank will need to be clear to add the sump kit. Yes, the shield may need to be modified depending on the truck.

So does it not having a fuel return separator to keep return fuel from the suction affect performance?

Great question, and on our sump the suction and return lines being together wont affect the performance.

What do i do if ive already cut the fuel neck do you have a cap for the return port on sump or some for the fuel neck?

Great question, and the sumps kits don't come with fuel line. If you need more though we can definitely help locate it locally or we can get you some over the phone. Our service team number is 636-433-5410.

so with that return/suction valve i won’t have to plug into the connection at the top of the tank ?

Correct, with the sump you'll have both at the bottom of the tank.

@@FASSFuelSystemswahoo! Will be ordering a pump this week with a sump kit. Can I cut the lines at the motor and use compression fittings to plumb in new fuel line? What about the fuel cooler connections? All my fuel lines are bad.

@@tomaskey6844 Sounds like a plan, also before cutting any fuel line we would suggest reading through the manual, or giving our service team a shout at 636-433-5410.
