I really like how you keep your machinery clean and maintained the maintenance on them that shows that you really care about your machinery and also the way you talk shows that you do a lot of homework before you buy something also crate videos love to watch them thank you and keep up the good work

That is neater than heck. I mean, 3-point attached sprayers are nothing new, but the size and quality of that is pretty darn cool. Very interested to see how it pans out and how it does on hills.

Here's another excellent video. I can tell you did your homework before you bought that sprayer. You can tell it's a well-built machine. I like how everything's nice and uniform in the cab easy access. Can't wait to see it in the field. Now on my Iva sprayer it has airbags on the Boom to keep it from bouncing so hard in the field especially at high speeds. Hope you're having a great day so far.

I’m looking at the same thing. If you have time you should do a part 2 to this video going over the field operation with it
@thomasbritten72165 жыл бұрын
Maybe you already know this but if you ever add a backup camera or seed tank cameras on the planters or anything like that they can be hooked up directly to the tractor cab. Video feed shows up on the GS3 or GS4 display on those R series tractors. I know that 8400R has four camera inputs but I haven't looked at a tractor like that 8360R to see how many inputs it has. Just thought I'd share some info

Did you go with this type of sprayer for convenience? Or price? I’m just curious if it’s cheaper and easier to use than a pull behind or self-propelled
@Blackearthexcavationandtiling5 жыл бұрын
It really came down to price .... we have the tractors ... its save having to maintain an additional power unit ... it's a nice sprayer ... if we had more $ we would probably have bought another self propelled

Thank you very much!! ..... and yes and no - I enjoy being busy, but would love to have everything fixed up and work ready at the same time..... but with each machine that gets fixed up and each new piece I am putting together a good farming career for myself - so def. Moving in the right direction ....

How did this setup work this year? We have been leasing a 4730 with a neighbor but are going to our own next year and thinking for the acres I have and the ground I have and the current economic situation this might be the best way to go might run it out our 8285r that’s my planter tractor and do like you are or try and get like a 8220 with ils or something since there’s definitely times another machine would be really handy.
@Blackearthexcavationandtiling5 жыл бұрын
Thank you for asking .... i completely understand .... and to answer your questions ... overall the sprayer is very impressive & we have been really happy with it ... if your serious about doing something like that - let me know ... I may consider selling this one at a reduced rate and going with an even larger unit ... I am going to do another video on it soon as well

@@Blackearthexcavationandtiling are you thinking you'd go with another mounted sprayer? if so what do ya got in mind?
@mattymetzger13 жыл бұрын
I'm just in the process of ordering a 953 with a 100 ft boom, It looks like you have the Raven Ultraglide Boom Height Control installed on your sprayer, that option is currently a $13000 option. I have mostly flat fields but that option would come handy along ditches where the field sometimes slopes toward the ditch. Just because of the price, I think I can manage the few areas that are uneven by manually adjusting the boom and save the auto height control. what are your thoughts?
@Blackearthexcavationandtiling3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment ..... for our area, with hills, the auto boom height was a must have option. I would want it even on a flat field, just because even flat fields have places that the boom needs to adjust ........ a hydraulic controlled top link is a must have with these sprayers - without the hyd top link they are miserable to level .... best of luck and let me know if you have any other questions... thanks

Does that tank have a center sump for sidehill? What's the distance from 3pt. pins to boom?

Do you like that in the hills? My dad always said they get tipsy of course he hasn’t had a 3 point sprayer since they were manual folds so
@Blackearthexcavationandtiling4 жыл бұрын
Extremely stable ... actually more stable than a self propelled machine ...
@dafarmer37214 жыл бұрын
BLACK EARTH EXCAVATION & TRENCHING, LLC great we are using a pull type set to 120 inch first time renting hilly ground so just getting ideas for future things. Belive me self propelled are so over priced when pt and three points are so much cheaper and do just as good of job
@Blackearthexcavationandtiling4 жыл бұрын
@@dafarmer3721 I think you would really like it .... nimble.. stable .. great sprayer .... my only complaint its a little hard to hook up - it would be easier if you had a hyd top link ...you have to level it as you raise or lower it (dependimg if you're hooking or unhooikng it)

@DEDBRD-di4yj5 жыл бұрын
After looking at the front tires again ,It looks like there plenty of space. I was just looking at the back tires bf and the camera kinda makes the rear gap tighter than it really is . Either way , that is one fine setup.
@Blackearthexcavationandtiling5 жыл бұрын
@@DEDBRD-di4yj I can see that... the camera def. Makes some optical illusions ... we are thinking changing the fronts over to 385x38 - just a hint narrower- but it likely wont matter... thanks for asking and for watching!
