Enjoy the 125 and 150 MPH trains HAULING through the Northeast Corridor at Canton Junction, and Mansfield!!

First Acela was slow... overall the traditional styled trains seem quicker than the Acela which is rather interesting considering that Acela is made for high speed rail... Really cool though! These trains mean some serious business! 👍🏽

Although most of the trains seen here are running at a fast pace, I figured you'd get quite a few of the Acelas... Until California/Amtrak High Speed gets its trains up and running, Acela is the only "official" high-speed rail game in the US right now...

I wish I knew another train enthusiast. Just one. I live only a few miles distant from one Amtrak route, and not much further from a freights-only route. We could set up the camera, get some great pictures and video, and just talk about the horn Doppler effects and the sheer speed of the passenger trains.

Great train watching location there on the Northeast Corridor. It would be great if the electrification would be extended South to Petersburg & Charlottesville, VA & from Petersburg East to Norfolk, VA & East from Richmond,VA to Newport News, VA so the Acela trains can run to & from Norfolk & Newport News, VA & the Crescent, 2 Northeast Regionals & the Cardinal can be pulled by the ACS64 electric engines to Charlottesville,VA.

MassDotFan1062 Productions As unreliable as the HHP-8's were, they were a treat to catch. Seeing #944 was impressive since the horn was so loud and the toaster acted like it was built 3 hours beforehand.
