Grab a beer and watch Sonny Jim's hilarious facial expressions as we blast down some skinny water on the West Coast of New Zealands South Island.
Powered by a 1200cc Kawasaki 2 stroke triple punching out a shitload of torque, this wee boat is a beast.
The Hull was strengthened by Scott Sheldon of Wild Water Jet, who also made the customized intake and added an impeller and gyro steering nozzle to increase power and performance.
Scott made the first mini jetboat years ago utilizing and old alloy dingy and throwing a small jetski engine inside.
Since then he has built his business up and using modern technology is making state of the art jetboat accessories that blow the competition out of the water.
These wee craft are powerful and dangerous, I strongly advise anyone who has limited experience to not attempt this style of jetboating in small tight water.
One mistake or gear failure can have catastrophic consequences, use only top shelf components that have been installed by a professional, learn the ins and outs of your boat and manage the risk
