Great Vid Josh It's a great thing you are doing to help with mental health .The black dog as we call it in Oz found me in my late 20s and manifested itself badly in my early 30s my marriage had broken down but fortunately I found someone who was suffering also and somehow we saved each other we have been together now for 45 years she has been a wonderful partner and her son who was only 5 years old when we got together is a great man but over the years the black dog came to visit until I found a mental health councillor who showed me how to chase the black dog away and now at the age of 75 I have overcome the fear and drama of mental health issues maybe I was a bit slow but these days if young people have issues I would urge them to seek help it doesn't make you look weak but it will make you strong ,keep up the good work Josh you and Clay Tall Stories are doing a great thing for your young people.

@@rodgeorge7244 cheer brother. Appreciate it. Yeah, everyone should go to counseling even if they don't think they have mental health issues, it's a good thing to know how the brain works and establish healthy ways to communicate and live. 😊

Well done Josh. I trained to be a Psychologist in later life. Glad your sharing the skills you are gaining. A pause is amazing, the stimuli is neautral, our response is ours to choose. Vikta Frankl put it better, 'Between stimulus and response, there is a space, in that space is our power to choose our response, and in our response lies our growth, and our freedom'.

Good on you Josh. Talking about mental health is a good gig bro. There's a lot more going with mental health, especially for us men, that so many people are unaware of. I admire your honesty and the way you address the issues that so many if us are faced with. If you find yourself in Central Queensland at any time bro, I have access to a little honey hole of chital deer that might interest you. Of all the deer species I have shovelled down my pie hole, there is nothing that compares. Keep up the good work my bro. You're a true kiwi legend.

Nice intro music choice ! Vivaldi, 4 seasons - who would have thunk it for a NZ hunting vid ? Those ancient composers expressed the great outdoors - specially for NZ - better - = than any of the whining metal banging noise choice in majority NZ hunt vids.

YOu nailed with vivaldi on the river in the beginning....then the Italian "se fue se fue" song that people complained a few videos ago was funny as🤣🤣🤣🤣 I didn't know that fire lightning method, very interesting. Nice talk about mental health, a couple days ago I was watching a video from 2018, the KUIU founder himself brilliantly talking about the technical stuff of mountain sheep hunting in US, the dude is the real deal... then found out in the comments that he took his own life in the same year, very very sad.

@@petermilne9598 my tent has 2 poles and 2 ropes and 2 pegs. Chuck it on the ground, unroll it, clip carabineers into 2 loops, tie 2 ropes and hammer 2 pegs in. Got to be quicker to set up. Has heating options of a fire or plug a diesel heater hose into the bottom end. PVC bucket floor so you can pitch in a swamp and no water gets in, can withstand gale force winds and heavy snow, made from canvas so it's a lot more durable. Made in New Zealand. I would say from start to finish, park 4wd and tent set up.... It would be a close race! Packs down a lot smaller as well. Those Russian hot tents look bloody good though I must say
