Have you ever needed a quilt on short notice.😬Well here is a quit that you can make in a day, start to finish. With all the pieces in this quilt it looks like it takes a lot longer.

I love that you aren;t obsessed with all the expensive and fancy quilting paraphernalia. To a newbie like me, it can sometimes feel like a massive consumption-fest! So I love your dollar store design wall and masking tape sewing ledge. It makes it much more accessible to newbies who can't buy an Oliso iron etc etc. Thanks again! Jay

I'm totally with you in this 'expensive quilting paraphernalia' crazyness. A quilter for 40 years, this saddens me as it's got nothing to do with the original idea behind it. If we stick to the basics and Karen's yt advice we'll be perfect 😉

I bought a pack of fat quarters today from an overstock store...now I know why they were there! I ended up having to cut my squares at 8" instead of 9, but it looks like I'll have some leftover strips to play with! Also, I've been watching your videos for over a year now, and while I've been sewing for a very long time, I've never made a quilt before! This will be my very first one!

Karen, love this idea! Laying out the blocks IS a time-chew for me, too. I lay them out the way i think i like them, then walk away and do whatever. An hour later, i allow myself one more switch-around, then commit to sewing. This works for me, but i also like the time limit method you suggested. Thank you!

This tutorial/pattern/video is SO WONDERFUL. You mention everything you need to know! I am not a beginner but this would be incredibly easy to follow along if I still were. Even as advanced of a sewer I am I still appreciate videos like this that are easy to follow along and have great visuals. Tons of advice. And a lovely lady. Love this.

I have to tell you, I LOVE your voice. After having flown straight up out of my chair about 150 times when a YT video comes on with a perky, shrieking, much too vigorous HI!!! on the part of a YT quilting presenter, I appreciate you! Soft, calm and melodic Hello...oh, I can breathe. And I've devoured everyone of your videos...such good common sense and adult instruction and encouragement. Each new video you post brings a happy burst of excitement and I make the time to sit down and watch and enjoy. LOVE you and your channel.

Great quilt. I have yet to make my first quilt. I have a huge stash of fabric I inherited from my mother. This looks like something I can do. I’m so glad I found your videos. Thank you so much. Linda, PA, USA
