People actually wrote this, had a meeting with other people, rewrote it, and then had more meetings about the scene… they then paid more people to wake up, and go shoot it, they did multiple takes, then they had to sit in front of a computer, edit it and add all the effects… they must have taken months to finish it… and during that whole time, not one person said… “what the f*ck are we doing, this is the dumbest f*cking thing anyone has ever seen”….

list of innacuracies in this scene - 1. a submarine surfacing through ice is planned up to weeks in advance to find to make sure the conning tower doesnt get destroyed 2. once surfaced, a submarine cannot move as it is not powerful enough 3. the akula class which is the featured sub does not have any missiles and definitely wouldnt have the outdated launch system featured 4. the missile wouldnt take that long to reach its target it would more be around 2-3 seconds 5. if the missile did reach its target it would not circle around as missiles only hav enough fuel to reach cruising speed and then they rely on the ailerons to make adjustments, and once it has no heat signature to track it would either detonate or go on forever 6.there is no way a submarine can keep up with highly tuned cars while surfaced and breaking through ice espicially while surfaced
