I see his videos regularly at youtube.such a nice and humble person very warmly shares his tricks with everyone. It's like he genuinely wants people to bowl like him or better than him. Had he not been involved in match fixing I am 100 % sure he would have finished his career as the best fast bowler of this generation. In my view also above Anderson and styen might not be in terms of wickets but surely in terms of class.

He was the best “Seam” bowler not “Swing”. In “Seam” bowling the ball changes direction after pitching which is what Asif was great at. Whereas “Swing” the bowl changes direction in the air before it pitches which is what Wasim Akram was great at.

Agreed, I am so frustrated that 99% of people get this wrong. He could hardly swing the ball, he only seamed. And TBH, his out dipper (seam) delivery didn't create that much deviation, but still was enough. But his in-dipper was insane, to both left and right handers.

Asif was really good at in-dipper specially (ball pitching, then moving right). That's because he rarely used to bowl from over the wicket. He used to ball from left of empire side
