Fantastic. Just what I have been looking for. I’m buying a next gen Amarok Panamericana. Question, do we need to cut the cables and adding Anderson plugs though? I’m not confident enough to do that. Can we still have the plug coming out of the accessory panel without adding Anderson plugs?

how do you run 2 fridges or a fridge and camp lights etc if you only have 1 cigarette 12v DC out?!

Just a quick question How did you overcome the variable voltage alternator (smart alternator) from limiting voltage to the vehicle battery?

just keep dropping the input limit. If the car is off and this thing kicks in it will drop your voltage much lower than it does when the car is running

Thanks for this one. I’ve been tossing up how to have a Delta II Max & alternator charger put into my Wildtrak. I was considering having the charger fitted behind the rear seat but this makes more sense and keeps it tidy and accessible. Not that confident with electrics though so may need to get a local auto electrician to do it. Also finally got around to fitting the Triple M tub rack, works a treat!!

Fantastic setup, will be copying this. Do you think the anderson in the tub and associated wiring/fuses would be suitable to run the arb twin portable compressor from? And would it be worth installing a cutoff switch for the anderson plug for safety?

Hurricane Helene destroyed everything. The cell phones were damaged by water and wifi wasn't available for over a week ... so could this be used without a phone?

On which side of EcoFlow 800 watt Alternator charger did you place the extension cable? On the battery side or on the trunk side? And how did you do it? Thank You

Great product and very versatile. Aren’t Anderson plugs only rated to 50 amp though.

They make 120 and up but his link doesn't work. I'm curious also if he used 50a or 120a. I plan on doing the same idea to move it between 2 vehicles

Great video (as usual), very thorough in the detail and explanation is easy to follow. I’m fitting the same gear to the same vehicle and it looks like I’ll have to extend that cable another 1.5m from the battery as well. Good to know. When you were extending the cables, at the joins, did you solder as well as crimp or just crimped and heatshrinked the join? Did you use a 50A or 120A Anderson plug? Not sure if I’ll use an Ando the same as you did or just have a grommeted hole for the cable.
