Yes, Alex another fun sail to watch. Also, Niki seems much more comfortable sailing with you. Look forward to the big news 😎😎

Brownsea island brings back so many memories as I sailed there as a kid with my mum and dad. There was a sign marking the channel just before where you were anchored, that said ‘A Quiet Place’….brilliant!! A very special place to anchor and hike on the island and see the peacocks! Thanks for taking us along! All the best Richard 🇬🇧👍

Cheers Alex, another thoroughly enjoyable episode of life onboard sweet little Mingulay. It seems that ingenious mast unstepping mechanism presents a few problems when flying the spinnaker but you had it sorted. Love the videography as always. Thanks for taking us along with you and Nikita on this latest adventure. ❤🤟⚓⛵

@@ElectroRiderSN thank you!!! Was a good day out on the water. The mast raising system actually doesn’t get in the way all that much. A lot of the time it makes for good hand holds!

Good vudeo as always Alex, that spinnaker is as big as I think you could've gone for Mingulay 😂

Enjoyable video again, thank you. Have you considered taking the inshore East Looe channel into Poole Harbour entrance? It cuts quite distance off when approaching from the East, and allows one to sail right into the entrance.My current boat is far too deep in draft, but I used to enjoy going that way in my previous boat. One can chat to the bathers on Poole Head beach on the way past! Ha!

I have done it once before but the wind for me hasn't been favourable most of the time. Thanks for watching!

Did you do any jibes with the spinnaker? If yes, how did it feel on your trimaran?
@AlexGoesSailingАй бұрын
@@dansullivan6911 I didn’t on this trip but it feels just fine what I have done it another time. No different to the Genoa really.

Interesting video but the asymmetric sail (not really a spinnaker) flying section in 360 view made me sea sick 😁
@AlexGoesSailingАй бұрын
@@MartinWoodman it’s definitely a type of spinnaker. It’s a very broad term as there are so many different cuts. Going for the full 4D experience with the sea sickness haha
