I used to LOVE the playground at Chuck E. Cheese, there was a weird half-car hanging off the side you could "drive", no slides but there were lots of different places you could climb. I think there was a rock wall too. But... They tore down that playground so now it's only arcade games and food there. It's really sad that the younger generation will never experience this childhood wonder of getting stuck inside of the really small tubes you had to crawl through to get the the car.

My McDonald’s playground memory: I was five years old and living in a very religious family. I saw another child about my age and thought that it was my duty to tell him that Jesus loved him. I caught up to him in the tubes and told him that if he asked Jesus into his heart he could go to heaven, and he turned around and gave me a look I’ll never forget. I just remembered “Zona Divertida” in my hometown, it recently closed, but back in the day it was AMAZING, it had everything and more, from drawings to sand games to jumping zones, and also the standard maze-like playzones with 2 like ziplines. Good times

I only have two experiences with fast-food playgrounds: The McDonald’s one, and the one I went to when I was five. The first one was pretty normal. Making a friend you’d never meet again, racing down the slides, hitting another kid along the way, and banging your head on the ceiling because I was barely short enough to fit. Y’know, the usual eight-year-old experience. The second one, however, was _scarring._ I don’t even remember what restaurant it was, all I remember is that they had those little tube mazes with the slides. But, there’s a twist! The maze was enormous, and since I’ve been a nervous wreck all my life, and was literally five, I got hopelessly lost! And starting crying! And I wandered around there for what felt like hours, still crying. Every time I reached a window, I would bang on it and scream to try to get my mom’s attention. Never worked. Eventually though, I came across a group of older boys that guided me to a slide. Pretty sure we went home after that. Either that or I just stayed with my mom the rest of the visit. Either way, it was a very interesting experience. Sorry if I dragged this on too long lol

I'm sure it's different everywhere else, but the burger king play place they described is legit the EXACT SAME as the Mc Donalds one in Salem, IN... I spent half my childhood there, but as a 14-year-old the only time I remember was when I was 8 or 9 and a 13-year-old asked if I wanted him to push me down the yellow slide. He had started the line for this previously and it was my turn. Naive me said "Sure!" and when he pushed me down, he grabbed my long ponytail. I tell you this thing went down to my knees, so I only felt him pulling it when I got halfway down the slide. Then he just held me there, crying, by my ponytail, and his sister (i think) was at the bottom trying to help me and asked, "did he get you too?" Yeah, that was the last time I went to the play place and let someone even talk to me. It was traumatic...
