PSA: DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING YOU HEAR THATS NOT FROM AN OFFICIAL SOURCE RELATED TO THE PRODUCTION STUDIO. Also you should be skeptical of any information about the movie before it’s officially released. Past F&F movies have shown and proven that much of what is said is either exaggerated or completely untrue. It’s my personal opinion that Universal does this on purpose possibly even releasing misinformation so they can still surprise fans when the movie actually releases. Case in point, in one of the last movies they said the rock would not be in the movie due to a feud between vin diesel and him. This was proven untrue as the rock was in the movie towards the end. Also in F&F Tokyo Drift they said none of the original cast would be in the movie and Vin Diesels character made a surprise appearance at the end of the movie. you never know what they are actually going to do, it’s been proven time and again. just be patient and get hyped for the next movie.

What’s always felt odd to me was when Dom first race he has an RX7. After that movie he’s just all about Dodge. If the movie is going back to its roots, hopefully they build a badass RX8 for him to use at some point.

The last thing needed is yet another character that comes back. Plus, Jessie was annoying and doesn't really have a role here. He was a spindly car nerd in a franchise that has very little to do with cars anymore.

I have a reliable source about the movie. Because this person was part of the crew for F&F 1 and 2. His supra was part in F&F 1. Fast 11 is going back to all about racing. Just like F&F 1.

They should bring back Carter Verone from 2 Fast, he only got locked up and even told Brian and Roman that he'll see them soon. He could be contacted to Dante Reyes somehow plus they could bring back Monica Fuentes and some how some way write Leon in there some where. A lot of fans would like to know what happened to him.

IIRC Carter Verone was played by the same guy playing Rip on Yellowstone. He would have to shave his beard, which he might be contractually obligated to keep for Yellowstone.

Eva Mendes is not plump anymore. She is an old woman with saggy physique. Carter Verone was alright, but it's been 21 years already. DO we really need a 21 year old character to return? The only sensible villain would be Owen Shaw.

I disagree. Part 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 are all good. And studios want money? You telling me they don’t make movies for charity or for the pure art of making movies? You saying they actually want a return on the millions they put into making movies? And hold on, you just blew my mind. Are you saying that if something makes hundreds to over a billion dollars. A studio would make more? Why would they do that? You know when I work and make just enough money to pay my bills. I tell my boss I don’t want overtime because I’m not greedy, I don’t need anymore money. All my bills are covered, I assume you do the same. Also yeah they weren’t car movies. Save for Tokyo Drift and 1 or 2 others they’ve always focused on undercover police work and heists with cool cars to “fuel” the action.
