Why are you telling reactors when Tokyo Drift actually happens in the continuation? Everyone is always so confused and it's quite frustrating as a viewer
@IDyce88Ай бұрын
Fast & Furious is set BEFORE Tokyo drift. i'll give you the chronological order of the films: 1,2, 4 (this one),5, 6, 3 (Tokyo Drift), 7,8, 9, 10 (also known as Fast X). 4, 5 and 6 fill in the story of how Han and other characters are connected to Dom and Brian because as Dom said at the end of Tokyo Drift "he was when he was rolling with me" you don't have to watch them in chronological order mind you...i would personally...but so long as you bear it in mind you can watch them in release order too.

there's an inconsistency i want to bring up after the events of 2 fast 2 furious Brian's record is clean due to a deal he made with bilkins for taking down Verone carter HOWEVER in this movie Braga says i hear you just got out of county. When did Brian go to jail? what happened between after the ending of 2 fast 2 furious, tokyo drift and before this movie this movie?

I was watching trailers and I noticed one trailer I never saw before that started with a truck carrying fuel tankers being hijack. I was surprised when I saw Vin and Michelle are the ones hijacking the tankers, and realized this was a trailer for a new Fast and Furious. I'm happy also seeing Paul and Jordana in the trailer. Thrilled the four original main cast were back. To me, I count Fast & Furious as the real true sequel to the original movie.

Along with "Tokyo Drift," I feel this is an underrated entry overall. While "Fast Five" is the entry that truly shifts the franchise from a street-racing based series, to full blown action-movie spectacle, I think this instalment laid the groundwork; teasing how over the top they could get, while still relatively set against the backdrop of street racing. "Tokyo Drift" clearly wasn't a huge hit, but the studio and Vin Diesel still appreciated and respected what director Justin Lin & writer Chris Morgan brought to the table with the 3rd entry, as they were brought back for this and future instalments, (Justin Lin would direct "Tokyo Drift" through 6, and return to direct 9, while Morgan would write all the F&F movies from "Tokyo Drift" to "Hobbs & Shaw"). His "family" mantra may be a meme at this point, but Vin Diesel's return was pretty significant, as he saw that the sequels at the time suffered from the fact that neither of them felt like true continuations of the first movie, and featured a rotating cast of characters, rather than a consistent one (though the fact that the sequels introduced new characters, would end up being a plus down the line). This movie did a great job reassembling (for the most part) the main characters from the first movie, particularly reuniting Dom & Brian as they now fully become allies. Looking forward to you guys continuing this journey lol. It's a doozy, but it's a fun doozy.

Bringing back the original cast of the first film for the 4th was a major shock to the system. The tagline alone:'New model, Original parts' was too good for marketing. This was the grittiest of the saga and a major step up from F1. Serious drama, good action, great driving and no games allowed in this scenario. Gal Gadot as Giselle makes her acting film debut. Nice addition to the saga. IRL, she was a veteran supermodel and ex-military in her home country of Israel. The 'Los Bandoleros' short film, directed by Diesel was good for expanding the story. All about Dom, his newest crew and very special moment in his relationship with Letty after the events of the first film. It was available with the movie after home release. When it comes down to it, the bond of these original characters (Dom, Letty, Brian & Mia) was and still is the core of the Fast Saga. After this one, everything changes. I do mean EVERYTHING!!!!!!
