ONE positive outcome of menopause is my hair growth-let me explain. My hair suffered through inappropriate maintenance of micro-braids and later on sewn in weaves. Long story short, I experienced large bald spots around the perimeter of the hair line and in the crown. I started wearing wigs and said I would deal with it later. Fast forward over ten years (Do not judge me!😅), I started experiencing peri-menopausal symptoms including significant weight gain. I took immediate action and ultimately started intermittent fasting and changed my diet too consuming vegetables EVERY day (like 4-8 cups of greens and vegetables), and a green supplement, and a vitamin supplement and consuming close to the daily recommendations of water for me. My hair is 1) filling in and 2) getting thicker and 3) growing longer. I just discovered your channel this weekend and by Sunday afternoon I purchased some powders: fenugreek, amla and dried rosemary. AND, I bought some fenugreek greens to add to my nightly salads ($2.04 for a bunch). I am drawing up my hair routine now😊

Thank u for sharring your menopause journey bcoz iam going thru it for 10yrs now imagine. My hair is thin but was coming out badly, it stopped bcoz i read about spraying cloves water. It worked but not yet thickening or growing in the sides of my head (alopecia). Iam yet to use the DIY oils on Utube. Thank dear for sharring. Africa.

Personally decreased my hair fall with these. Detangle your hair gently with a wide tooth wooden comb to avoid breakage, particularly when hair is wet and more likely to break. Apply litttllextra cocconion organic hair oil shampoo 2 times a week. This is important step of my hair care routine and worked well in hair fall control.

Initially, I was doubtful about using coocoonion shampoo and the reactivatee serum, but I’m starting see some good changes. I’ve noticed my hair feels stronger, and I'm optimistic that regular use will lead to even better results.

I use the same herbs (minus the rosemary powder….I add rosemary EO after the powders have separated from the oils)….but, I heat it over very low heat for about 20 minutes…I remove it from the stove and pour the heated oil/powders into a glass jar and leave it for a few days. It separates just like in the video…but, the color of the oil is much darker because the heat helped the goodness of the powders infuse into the oil blend more. My scalp and hair love it!!

My hair is very fine. I think all those oils would overload my hair as I have high porosity. I don't think the diameter of my hair will expand. This oil is for those who naturally have thick hair & want to see some growth. I've seen some growth but I also see alot of shedding. I think when I try these recipes that are meant for thick hair, my hair becomes overloaded with product. When I was younger & permed or colored my hair, when I simply wet my hair with water on a consistent basis I did see extra growth. With this recipe I will simply seep for one week almond oil, aloe vera powder, amla & fenugreek powder & drops of rosemary essence. This is what I have on hand. I started a hair challenge on my wordgripaction Instagram account - you can see the pictures. I absolutely adore your hair. But reality is, I have to work with what I have and make adjustments to these recipes. I like what you said, life does get busy.
@aquafina65444 жыл бұрын
Try adding protien to your regimen? High po hair needs more protein. It will definitely slow down the shedding and thicken the hair. I went from lo po to hi from heat damage and perm color. I put my hair on a protien regimen and incorporated iron in my diet and trims and my hair is thickening up again. It takes a lot of patience and time but its a journey not a sprint eh.. good luck.
@truthersprotectingtruth4904 жыл бұрын
@@aquafina6544 Thank-you for commenting and sharing valuable advice. That iron is key also as I have been anemic all of my life. I have to be careful with the iron as too much iron is damaging as well. Take care.
@AnneMichelae4 жыл бұрын
I totally agree with working with what you have. My daughter has fine hair as well and I use this on her hair but this works for her because her hair is always in twists. So the oils don't weigh her hair down what so ever but for those who want to wear their out this might not be the best. However, these types of oils are great for high porosity hair because they penetrate the shaft which helps to prevent hygral fatigue, especially on wash days. ill definitely check out the insta gram
@truthersprotectingtruth4904 жыл бұрын
@@AnneMichelae Thanks for taking the time to explain. I had it confused, it is extra water that causes fatigue of the hair and not the oils. Be well, and you are helping so many. May the highest favor of the Almighty be with you and your family.

It depends the thick rich Castor oil doesn’t infuse well. And most times the powder kind of soaks up the oil and you’d have to strain it with a cheese cloth or something to really get your money’s worth.You can always add the castor oil after you’ve strained it. I do that all the time
