Hi from BC in Canada. I have a 3288 as well and really enjoy your videos. If you haven’t already, it would be extremely handy to do a step by step video on everything you would need to do to winterize your 3288:)

Thank you… Did you put a new gasket on? And where do you get it and what do you use?
@MyBoatandMylife3 жыл бұрын
There is a kit with impeller and gasket. I bought it at Biltema

Hi Nice Video again. I noticed you have the Gobius tank sensors on the waste tank? Are you happy with them? I am thinking of buying the same for my waste tank as now I dont have anything.. Thanks

I have it for my waste tank. it is not very accurate and it is difficult to get the donors to stay on the tank.

Ok, that was what I was thinking also, that it might be hard to get them to stick with only the glue...

Thanks for the Video. I have the same boat. Interesting to see what your technical room looks like or what you have arranged. I never thought that air conditioning would fit in there. Does it run through the same pipes and outlets as the heating? Greetings from Germany

I bought my boat in Italy, it was then owned by a German. The boat then had AC but not heater. I installed the heater and used the same pipe. I rarely use AC, but when I do, I have to move a tube manually.

That's strange how some of the impeller blades are bent to the opposite directions (I was yelling in my mind "no no no! Blades are wrong! Don't close the cap yet!") :-)
@MyBoatandMylife4 жыл бұрын
they will point in the right direction when the impeller spins one turn

@@MyBoatandMylife OK, but the old one was the same as well. That's the strange part.

When an engine stops, it often spins back a short distance due to compression.

@@MyBoatandMylife I use a zip tie (buntband) to compress the impeller blades in the correct direction, it makes it easier to put it into the pump. On your boat it's nice access to the pump, on my boat, I would never get it in place without compressing it first. I thought it was so fun to replace it that I ran with the sea water valve closed on one engine (I checked the strainer and forgot to open the valve) just to replace the impeller again. The pump was super hot, the suction hose melted and the impeller's rubber hardened.
