Hi, I have a 1990 bayliner 3888. What is the model of the filters. What oil did you use. How much qt per engine? Where can I get a dain pump for oil. Thanks

@@thedigitalshack I don't have the number of the oil filters here, I've used a few different brands. The oil isn't an expensive brand either, it's from Biltema.se

Hi Again! Thanks for this video! I guess the new oil filter just spins on? Careful when taking old one off, flip upside down yes? Also, do you fill the filter first to prime? Also, you said the oil drain hose plug is 19mm, very helpful! But what is the thread size to fit the hose barb fitting to attach the (vacuum) hose to drain? Also metric or NPT 1/2"?

hi, I do not gild the oil filter. It's getting too difficult / messy. I think the thread on the drain hose is 3/8 common on plumbers.

Det där ska jag också göra snart. Jag försökte tidigare när båten var på land med kalla motorer men det var så fruktansvärt trögt att pumpa kall olja så jag gav upp.

skunkjobb Det är nästan omöjligt med kall olja. Du kan med fördel lossa slangen från fästet i överkant på motorn, så oljan inte behöver sugas så högt upp.

Lite mera komplicerat än på bilen och vår lilla inombordare. Jag såg inte att du bytte ut dina punkterade oljefilter, men det kanske var självklart 🙄 ? Kanske jag missade det när jag fipplade med mina hörlurar. 😊

Jag tycker dom är relativt lättsårade. Länge sedan jag tittade på just denna film, men filtrens byttes.
