Cranked it down to kill it in 2 minutes. Enter with a 1 hp squad and the Adversity will boost your damage by a lot while your hp is low. Probably gonna need an extra 2/3 Phys pierce skills if you lack Battle Sutras/str stats on Demons & MC. Honestly, fight it the legit way without cheese & overstating your MC/Demons. @@thelegendaryjanitor2008 You can beat Yozora is 1 minutes tough skipping his second phase entirely, you can also take like 75% of his health in 1 combo at LV1 XD. Tough I do agree these require some set up and skill, a better comparison would be KH2FM Lingering Will and the Fenrir Strat now that require almost 0 Skill to pull off, any newbie can do it ^^. Ultimately yeah Turn Base are all about having the good build and pattern, while A-RPG add the reaction and timing due to the real time.

@@tron0150 Honestly, it really depends, because in KH2, to skip the desperation move, sometimes you have to be pretty precise with your firaga or else they can break out or something. Not a speedrunner, pretty sure thats a thing though. Never played KH3, and know nothing about it.

After my run yesterday and seeing a couple other things today I've calculated a theoretical one turn hard mode kill but it unfortunately requires having a 600+ str nahobino so not very viable without hacks or a LOT of grinding. Uses nuwa, Nahobino, a vile, and a beast. Impaler's glory magatsuhi skill gives a massive multiplier compared to the normal impaler skill. enter fight and get the 33% that demi's defense gets lowered>nuwa safeguard sacrifice of clay>mc activate impalers glory then use luster candy>vile kills self with safeguard on elephant to get gauge back>beast passes>nuwa kills self to get rest of gauge back>activate adversity with mc then one shot with either figment slash or akashic. This should put damage over 60K if you have a 600+ str nahobino. Wish there was some way to do it with realistic stats but anything I think of comes up with nothing.

The rules are bit simplier now, he's like okay with repel/null/absorb, and he doesnt even use masakados, while still using mid tier demons. But then again, its bearable to fight without constantly reset its good.

How much rng is involved in this strategy? Figment slash has a 50% hit rate and you need to hit four times with it. So is it basically you have get a 50/50 four times in a row? Or do the buffs and debuffs affect the hit rate on Figment Slash?

If you would have Mitama DLC, I would say use that or just find those Mitamas on the map (I think they have a respawn timer). Try checking this if you haven't. In the 1st Netherworld, at the bottom left of the map after Killing Hydra and where (Zhu Que/Feng Huang) spawn after activating Huang Longs quest. There should be one ontop of a building if you walk on the road that leads up.

Yeah, reloading save file doesn't make it ''re-appear''. Well that's the only 1 I actually know the location of that gives a Gospel. There should be 1 of each Mitama in each of the Netherworlds. If you're in need of some other Mitamas then; Netherworld 1 Red: The water pound where Anahita was. Blue: Ontop of a building at the place where Jatuya is on the lower left part of the map where some vending machines are. Yellow: Right before the Stone Golem Boss there should be a left path that's quite big, right infront where Apsaras cave entrence is. Netherworld 2 Red: Behind Oberon & Titania in the fairy village at a hill. Netherworld 3 Red: After dionys under the bridge where the Zhen NPC is.

Lol this was a golden classic coming back to watch , but sadly this technique , even though it's not legit , is still not possible anymore with the new battle system of SMTVV. The whole technique gets destroyed since when you block any of his attacks it only removes some of his press turns rather than all of them like here in SMTV , I also noticed he has pierce so it goes right through repel phys it's weird. I gave my Nahobino Repel phys and he just punches through with javelin rain :/ . Especially with the added mechanic of Innate skill , they probably gave him a pierce effect innate skill or something.

They probably had a hard time with it because you can truly only balance something so much between giving us so many options and trying to not make Demi fiend a broken, unfair mess as an excuse. I look at and think less about exploitative tactics and moreso whether the fight has interesting stipulations and means of winning much like some of fiends and the gimmicks they bring.

MegaTen players are too hardened. Not saying this fight is easier or harder than DDS Demifiend but those who have traveled the hard roads of Devil Survivor, DDS, Nocturne, IV and Strange Journey are hard to crack. Seeing the progression of your Demifiend attempts over the last several weeks was really awesome. This really showcases not only the knowledge of your MegaTen mechanics but shows just how flexible SMT V's customization depth is. Very sick game and I hope to play more of it soon.

Magatsuhi skill boosted his damage alongside impaler's animus which charged and gave pierce (ignores damage resistance) Mix in how a +9 affinity gives like a 50% damage bonus or something like that with how two tiers of attack buff on self and two tiers of defense debuff on target grants an immense damage boost. Mix em all and hitting 800% Damage (what it takes to turn 2,000 damage into 16,000 Damage) isn't actually that hard. What is actually scary is realizing that 999 Strength will likely put Demi-Fiend in OHKO territory or near OHKO territory.
