@@kaidene573 Cu Chulainn and Scathach, spam team wind omagatoki spell-mass aoe wind with debilitator 2 in 1, Red Rider to deflect electric and Rangda to deflect phys, nothing hard in this fight, 10 min to check afinities.

I killed Zeus on my first try with Naamah, Idun and Agrat, but got TPK'd by Odin's Hades Blast because I used an Elec Dampener instead of a Phys one. Second try I won with Mara, Gurula and Idunn, with some swapping out done, of course.

Would be easy if your affinity repels both Electric and Physical, because they would only waste their turn immediately once one of them attacks.

@@SaltyMon Odin wouldn't have the chance to cast Gungnir if Zeus keeps squandering their turn within their first action by attacking you when you repel both physical and electric. Unlike null which only removes two press turn icons, repel and absorb removes all press turn icons.

Yeah. Mara is an MVP for this fight. Thing is, many people don't realize that repelling or draining attacks remove more press turns than blocking them. I never knew that up until that point.

This might be my favourite boss fight intro cutscene in the game besides Khonsu’s intro. Just kind of a shame both Odin and Zeus share the same elements instead of being able to synergise together. At the very least it’s a fun scenario to see unfold.

It’s interesting Bethel’s branches haven’t fallen apart in Vengeance’s storyline since Odin mentions that he is following the angel’s orders simply because he is interested in the Nahobino, but it means that he (and Zeus) are still part of Bethel’s organization

This was a pleasant surprise but then I remembered how annoying Zeus can be and now they put him AND Odin together. Though I somehow I got lucky that Zeus was almost no threat to me and I got him out before anything went south. This was such a fun interaction to witness as well.

I did always find the individual fights between them a bit too easy in the OG game, and so I’m kinda glad that Vengeance decided to make them a duo-fight instead.
