I love your "slow wit". It's a type of wit that is so underrepresented in characters because some people can't handle the slow speed of it, but just like smoking, keeping it low and slow really brings something special out.

I will start with my age because I'm going to address that lovely E.T. lamp. I'm 48. My mother got into ceramics in the 80s and would make things like that. She took my brother and I to ceramics shops and we would paint these cheesy figures. I would have loved an E.T. but nothing that cool. I like it. And i really like that metal nibbler. Great video!

A power nibbler is great for making small series of sheet metal parts. Cut a pattern out of plywood, and add or subtract a little extra margin depending on if you are cutting an inside pattern or an outside pattern. Clamp the metal to the pattern, then nibble right up to the edge of the pattern. You can make lots of almost identical cutouts quickly.

It's got a blinker bulb!! They start blinking once they heat up, as there's a little heat sensitive piece of metal that bends to disconnect the circuit when it gets hot enough, then cools quickly and turns it back on, causing the random blinking. They used to be common in christmas lights.

Crafsman, I was very ill (almost terminally) when I was two years old in the early 1970's, and was in an oxygen tent in hospital, and my Parents arrived to see me and brought me a friction powered, spark making, fire truck, as they thought that would cheer me up, little coloured tiny fireworks ricocheting off the walls of the clear plastic highly flammable polythene sides of my tent, to delight me, their baby.... Or Explode me. The jury is still out. :o) Be very happy with your ET, I think he would be a safer option! At least he has an off switch! Love following your videos from the UK, your sense of humour and talent is inspiring.
