Really glad to hear this! I know I've shown a silicone mold fail before, but this one was with a specific product (EcoFlex) that - although I've used successfully before - I would feel BAD recommending something to y'all and it be a little on the tricky side to use. I followed the same steps with the Dragon Skin and got great results right off the bat. :)

You could probably do a whole series on DIY gone wrong and salvaging or repurposing things so you can still get great use out of the time you've spent on your great content. There was glitter on the table of my high school prom and my girlfriend at the time took a pinch and put it down my shirt. I swear every time I move and have the floors all bare... I still find one tiny little piece. It's been nearly 30 years now.

That really thin squishy one you made had me thinking back to those "sticky hands" toys where you could fling them at something and it would stick and pull it back. Also those octopus ones where you throw them against a wall and they would slowly "crawl" down. If they lost their stickiness you could rinse them in dish soapy water and pat them dry. I'd bet they were made with similar silicone.

That silicone is a very cheap TPE rubber. The silicone Crafsman has is a pretty high end platinum silicone.

So my wife has this "glitterfied pefume" that she sprays glitter on her with the smell. I told her "No way! Glitter is bad! I hate glitter. It gets everywhere." Like 10 minutes later I see the CrafsMan using glitter to make his figures. I'm forced to reconsider my life choices now. LOL Great video, CrafsMan. My wife approves.

I’ll never forgive myself for not being privileged to know Crafsman at this time. Glitter is my FAVORITE. I have an entire bedroom wall (floor to ceiling, side to side… 110% coverage) covered in brushed on glue and so.much.loose.glitter. But it looks AMAZING. It’s gold, but I used over a dozen different colors and sizes of glitter to really make it pop and have dimension.

However, as I'm from the UK, right here, Getting hold of Smooth-On products has its issues... We pretty much only get sample kits i think over here.
