Nice. When I got my 80cc it was doing around 36. But when you live in the suburbs of Pennsylvania anything fun under the sun for a teen to do is illegal like riding your minibike on public roads lol. Like why tho? It's fun and not causing anyone physical or financial harm.

@@natec9719 I live in canonsburg. I was just riding on the street outside my house one day and I got to the stop sign and a cop pulls around the corner says I didn't see but please do take it home. I said yes sir and thank you for the warning. If I lived around Greenville then I could get away with it because the cops are around 30 miles from wilhelm camp and the state trooper ain't gonna be around to catch me 😂. I mean hell if people can get away with quad riding on the streets and main road up north i think I'll be good on a minibike haha

I got a MM 105 special edition with the mag wheels, front shocks and special paint scheme. Black with silver. I weigh 215ish and mine will get up to a solid 28 with no mods. I was impressed. I'm going to bypass the governor soon though.

Thank you very much! It depends on how big you are. If you're a big guy then I wouldn't recommend it unless you plan to swap it with a bigger engine, otherwise it pulls me along fine and I'm ~5'7" and 135lbs. I would still like to put in a 5hp-6.5hp engine and change the gearing eventually.

anonymous .. Agreed. I'm a 225lb grown man and got it going over 20mph down my road with the governor turned all the down. The guy at the store told me it'd do 30mph with the governor turned up. It had no problems getting around with me on it.

Well I hit 37 with the governor still in, just bypassed. These 2.5 horse engines are so slow that it wouldn't even haul my little brother around in the grass. The pos had a high top speed on pavement only once I modified it but you still had to flintstone it from every stop. I put a predator 212 in and now it only goes 30 because I kept the governor in, but now it accelerates like a stabbed rat.

I have a mini bike in fact it’s the same one except black and he has preformance parts but I have a home made throttle that gets me around 35 mph it’s pretty simple if you have an old broken down mountain bike you can take The break handle off and put it on your mini bike

The "stock" tires aren't rated for pavement or top speeds. So be careful of a blowout.

Also, try experimenting flipping the exhaust around to where it doesn't face the way you're riding. The exhaust comes stock facing the direction of the way you're going which is bad for performance because it's trying to blow air out of it, not suck it back in it.

Just normal driving doesn't wear them too bad, doing burnouts does though XD. This mod can break the engine because it's not just pulling more gas through the carb, it's spinning the engine to a higher rpm then it's designed for. So if you rev it too high it will break.

Will Williams III my tip now is to predator swap it, the stock engine is only fun for a while. But fair warning if you want to predator swap it you have to make sure you can handle the power, no joke! I'm 16 y/o and 5'7" 135lbs and it's almost too much for me lol.

well, i actually finished doing this mod myself today. Holy crap it made my bike so much faster. using a spedometer, my mini bike without this mod went 26... now it goes 35-36. That really helped thanks man!

Hey DUDE! I have a question. I have the same Mini Bike in black Monster Moto purchased January 2016 I weigh bout 155pds and 5ft8 its suits me well. Also took off the governor! I use only 93 SHELL V POWER whick in my opinion makes a tremendous amount of difference in acceleration. My dumb A$$ neighbor took it for a spin and fell. The back break system completed cracked, have to replace throttle which i know how to. I have an old spare monster moto exactly same color as yours. So i have extra parts, I also have a flat on the back tire. Think maybe you can assist me in some mechanical INFO?! So i can repair it, after watching you go bananas on yours i want to fix and get back on mine A$AP! If you have a few extra mins please cotact me. THANX Tony FROM P,A,! OH P.S. Want to do a motor swap maybe put a predator 173cc Your ideas?!

That sucks that it got crashed. I don't know if I can give you any info, but if you have spare parts you can use those and they'll do just fine. I've noticed the tires on these bikes are trash, and so are the throttle cables (I've broken 2 already). I think an engine swap would be perfect for one of these, I want Honda GC160 or even better a GX160 if I can get one for cheap. A Predator would be a cheaper option, and they work just fine, but I just want to get a Honda because they are the most reliable. I would also recommend engines under 5hp unless you're going to change to higher gearing, my cousin has a Predator 212cc 6.5hp with the stock gearing and the acceleration is stupidly fast. no, that is a lie, if your close to 300 lbs then that thing definitely would not be able to pull you....even downhill on a grade of 40% it does not work for me, and i am 230
