What I love about this channel is that it shows the finished production first. So many tutorials I click on, I don't know if it's really for the effect I'm looking for until the very end, and some don't even show the fully rendered product. I also appreciate the step-by-step process and BTS shots, and your staff and enthusiasm are just the icing on the cake!

I've been subscribed to you for a while and you've really come a long way. I'm not necessarily watching these tuts specifically for the effect you're showing but I always pick up a tip or two along the way and they're entertaining to watch. Keep it up 👏 Peace and fair winds ✌️⛵

4:19 Jannick (spelling sorry) is placing the flag/cutter into the gobo head backwards. You want to do it so that the weight of the flag tightens the knuckle (Righty Tighty) Else there is potential for gravity to loosen it and it could fall.
@JustMamba2 жыл бұрын
I know this is in premiere but for anyone who's curious. You can use after effects and roto brush and do this very quickly and easily.

4:18 For that reason, I always shoot my green screen shots at freaking fast shutter speed (for example 1/1500s) and add CC Force Motion Blur effect to add that artificially, so it looks natural. But thanks for the video, I don't want to play a teacher here, I just share my tips & tricks that anyone can do! I love your videos and I will look forward to new ones.

@awakeningrecordscuracao536911 ай бұрын
So I tried this today and trust me it's not as easy as it looks, lowering your shutter speed makes your video brighter which makes the shot look different when you mask it.

you can also while shooting make your subject move really slowly while the other people move fast. and then in post fast forward the video so your subject looks like he/she is moving normally and the people in the background would then be moving really fast. You just have to watch out for the chest movement while breathing. Quick and dirty way.

by adding a screen effect as the top layer, you get a ghostly render, better way is to increase the shutter speed, and fake the motion blur in after effects. Since you said it was a more advanced version, thought it should be a proper version :P
