I've looked at arrows from Alibow and AF, and have wanted a review because they seem like a great deal, and better suited than what's available domestically. I'm waiting to see what Alibow comes out with, as my wife and children are now interested in asiatic archery as well.

I was wondering what arrows these were, when i saw them in your Tartar bow video. Like that there is more gripspace behind the fletching, makes it easier not to damage the feather when handling more arrows. Too bad they were not around when I placed my last order with Alibow. Ordering Arrows alone makes no sense, as with shipping and customs you double the price. If you order them with other stuff, it is better as size is a big part of the shipping cost, and the arrows fit neatly into the bow package so not adding size. I have the Manchu Arrows from them and the quality is great, so I guess will be the same with them. About the Whipping, I personally find the shrink wrapping easier to handle and apply. Also you can easily cut it off and fix it in a few minutes if it gets damaged. I have a set of Nijora Arrows with traditional string whipping and that got loose after just a few shooting sessions, so now they look terrible until I get up to fix it, which will take much longer then just putting on some shrink tubing. The string whipping looks much better but is not as comfortable in day to day use, at least from my experience. Btw your new drawstyle looks quite interesting, will have to try it out.

Great review! Thx Armin. 4 fletching with the X-knocks as a package will make life easier for sure. Any chance you could do a short video on speed loading from the Bow hand using the X knock for both Thumb and Slavic?

I dont like loading from bow hand, so I guess there are experts out who can tell. Not me :)

Answered too fast... I have the same quiver from AliBow, but there is one little flaw: on the website they show brass around the holes for the thigh fastener (back of the quiver), if I am not mistaken, on your quiver this is also missing. Else the quiver is just fantastic. But I need this quiver from Mihail, too, I simply love it. Has a bit of a Quickdraw Holster. Btw. once I have learned to hit my target each time, I will try to learn your way of nocking the arrow, looks so elegant!

I really appreciate your demonstration of this kind of "flow-loading style", straight out of a quiver; it looks intriguing. But the main problem I've with this kind of technique is its limitation to one side. I'm an avid both handed shooter (ambidextrous), like in the old days where soldiers were forced to master both sides (regardless if mounted or foot soldiers). It's one of the inherent beauties of tradional bows, contrary to modern bows like olympic style, or compound bows: You can do every tecnique from both sides because of their design. And changing the quiver always from right to left during my shooting session would be VERY inconvenient and annoying. But, regardless of my taste, well done 👍.

in this case I would use 2 quivers I guess

Armin buddy....remember with this nocking method to press the arrow shaft into the string as you push the arrow forward. Very important

I don't know who you are, but if you think you should be giving Armin archery pointers... Shouldn't you also be making videos to share your knowledge with the world? I'm assuming so.
