Thanks for this video! I had an ST #89 with a bad minute pivot bushing which is inaccessible because of the fast/slow assembly. I ground the steel peened end off the lower brass "pinion" with a Dremel medium grit polishing wheel (carefully not to grind the brass pinion), knocked it out from the back with a steel stake, removed the assembly, did the bushing, and reassembled the pinion back on, heating the end of the steel shaft a bit with a pencil torch before peening. I found your video thought-inspiring.

I always wear Nitrile Gloves. Chemicals, including Oils are not the best thing to be absorbed by your hands!
