ive been using the fastCap for a few weeks. I use my tape measure about every 10-15 seconds at work running a high speed chop saw. The only problem i have is that with the pencil holder on the front (worn on right hip) Im constantly pushing the pencil out of the holder when taking the tape measure off the fastcap. so im consatntly dropping my pencils. If the sharpener was on the back (it is if your left handed and wear it on your left hip) it would be much better. Oh, I also had to shave down the top edge of the lip that the tape measure clip slides over. It is square edged and I had trouble getting the clip to start over it. I files the inside edge down a bit to give a a more beveled shape and now its super smooth.

I've been using the Pocket Hitch tape measure holder and I love it. Plus it's made in USA 🇺🇸
