Hi Tom -- just started to watch the video -- yet another hard job !! the owner said the job was only just moving 2 pipes eh ! -- my guess is he started the stripping out thinking he could do the job himself ! -- then he realised he needed a proper tradesman like you -- -- i know you will sort the job out coz ive seen lots of your videos -- just hope you get good money for doing the job coz you deserve it -- im sure it would have been one big house years ago thats been split into flats so i bet the water main serves more than just the one flat -- take care Jim ....

Nice job as usual tom. What was the warning notice on the boiler for? Would be cheaper to replace it than move it.
@PlumbLikeTom Жыл бұрын
The customer wants the boiler to go in the kitchen, apparently the warning label was put on because the gas meter was changed to a smart one but there was no electricity to test the boiler so they isolated it, at the end of the day all I can do is give best advise, I personally would change it but its the customers money, if it passes its safety checks I can sign it off, if not it gets a sticker on it, thanks for watching as always 👍

@PlumbLikeTom Жыл бұрын
This one is a day rate, I normally don't work like this, but because it's a customer I have worked for in the past, we are both happy to do it on day rate. I normally prefer to price everything, that way you have some sort of contract, thanks for watching

11:29 giberet frame? Will that be possible Tom?
@PlumbLikeTom Жыл бұрын
I'm not sure what toilet will be going in yet mate, the position the new soil pipe is in will make it possible for a frame or for a standard close coupled toilet, the customer wanted the shower where the old toilet was meaning the only option was to re route it under the floor, it will look so much better though with the new layout

it would be interesting to see, unfortunately It's not the meter for the property im working on, it is piped externally on 28mm and it looks to go straight into the boiler, so that pipe size wouldn't be a problem, the gas transporter would probably just change the regulator and just walk away
