I love my rear blade for snow removal, best tip I have is bring in the top link so when the blade is down its angled forward, that way it wont dig in and rip anything up

The problem with doing that is that when you shorten the top-link, it requires you to drop the 3PH lower before the blade hits the ground. If the forward hitch end of the implement is lower than the blade end, when you angle the blade, the end if the blade closer to the tractor will be lower than the end further from the tractor, and you’ll gouge you gravel surface. Adjust the top link so that the implement is level front to back when the blade is on the ground. Then when you angle the blade it wont also tilt it side go side. If the blade is scraping up too much of your gravel, either turn it around backwards, or fit a steel pipe over the edge. I have a 1 1/4” steel pipe fit on mine so I don’t have to worry when the ground isn’t frozen.

If you want to double what you have in it. Get some plate steel and a hydraulic cylinder. Then bring it over, and we can convert it to hydraulic swing. Will allow you to move snow in both directions without having to dismount the tractor to swing it.

Great deal. I have a 6 foot on the back of my 24 hp Massey & its a little big but its great for cutting trenches. Guy could always 6 inches off each side with a plasma cutter or a angle grinder if you think its to big later. Might try flipping the blade 180 degrees moving that gravel around too. It doesn't drag as much & still gets things leveled up.
