front fork static sag should be set the same as rear shock static sag? (ex: 5-10mm of static sag for both front and rear)???

Fork static asg is engineered via top out springs so add static and rider sag together to get a number = 30-35% of total travel. The rear shock may or may not have a top out spring, so static sag at 12-15mm plus riders sag -= 30% of total travel.

Took away halve of the static sag? What was the second measurement?

Goal is 12-15mm to start every time.

Dave I have a 1988 Suzuki Katana w/ 600 w/ a 750 motor I am putting on 91 GSXR front inverted forks and plan on installing K-Tech Suspension 20SSK Fork Piston Kit I need to know what spring rate I should run. The bike is close to 500 lbs and I weigh 200 lbs also I have a fox shock on the back that needs a spring as well is the K-Tech Suspension 20SSK Fork Piston Kit a good kit and is the something better for the same moneys or cheaper kit is 350.00 don't know if it makes a difference but I am also installing a RF 900 swing arm as well. thanks and I will NOT be unsubscribing any time soon if ever.

.95kg spring rate The SSk set is the same at the GP Suspension piston kit (they are in Oxnard CA), 110mm oil level, 5w oil. The shock spring would be via Race Tech. They suggest 11kg rate.
