The cone challenge only makes sense with two constraints which is ABS and you have to apply full breaks otherwise you can just break sooner and modulate the breaks to make you end up right in front of the cone.

When doing a j turn, do a quick slight jog of the wheel in the one direction first then immediately rotate all the way in the other direction and it will turn the car better, and it will help the car get into the same lane in the other direction too.
