In case of Maus tank, it's not thing you "could" watch. It's a thing you HAVE TO watch while screaming at everything that comes up as side annoyance to your Maus tank.

So funny seeing SPG doing direct fire. Makes you wish you could actually use them how they are meant to be used. With that you need to adopt aiming up if you don't want to be killed so easily. It hide your bussell.

@@DOLLARplays It isn't a common practice since people want to save their barrel. Though losing a barrel is better than a tank. Also the French ones with the oscillating turret you due the same. it angles the upper turret armor more to make it easier to bounce rounds.

Bandkanon 1C! I served on one of those in the Swedish army in 97-98 🙂 Never meant for direct fire though, so a bit short range in a game like that. It could fire close to 30km.

@@airplanemaniacgaming7877 Yes we pulled out of the fire position and drow a bit away. Then the ammo dumpers had prepared all 15 shells in a fixture. And that big "casket" thing in the top back can be opened. We went under the fixture and after they lowered it into the casket a spring loaded arm was affected and all 15 where loaded into the magazine. We drow away and closed the doors. Was very quick after some training of both crews.

8:36 TBH, I like that map, had a game on it the other day where I was playing my T-54 and was doing extremely well just long range yeeting British and American tanks, protecting the A cap. Funny thing about it though was the fact I didn't even have the APDS unlocked, I was using APHE, and that battle unlocked APDS for me. After using APDS, I'm almost convinced the APHE is better because I can actually one shot consistently with it as long as I pen. I'm glad they brought the map back temporarily, wonder how long it will stay though. Doubt it will last much longer since its not the most popular, thought I defiantly like it more than some other maps.

People gonna like it who enjoys long range sniping, other won't be so happy about it . Having some apds is good for sniping, or dealing with heavy armor

The players who have played for years tend to like the bigger maps since there is more maneuverability and less bottlenecks. The small maps tend to be over after ppl finish one life on brs higher than 6.7/7.0. and APHE is generally better especially if u believe u have a flank on ppl.

As much as I love this thing, I'm kind of torn with it. It's hard to use: it's massive, has low ammunition, has an enormous weak spot in the auto-loader, has no turret traverse, is stupidly slow, has no zoom optics, and has no depression. But at the same time, if I get to where I want to go, I'm unstoppable. Idk what to think, kind of a love hate relationship with this thing.

These artillery pieces should work like this : team calls for arty, you hear it on radio. Click on the map and try to hit those coordinates. Alternatively, you should be able to fuck around with it, as in this video. If no one picks an artillery piece, artillery will be dropped as it does right now but with one twist, the artillery needs a reload occasionally so three players should not be able to call in for arty at the same time in three different locations. I will get a lot of hate maybe but yeah this could add flavour to the game and a whole new artillery branch for the nations. Imagine using a 155mm artillery piece and trying to match coordinates and such. God such fun.
