Wow this is insane! I used to go to Minnesota Dragways for drag racing as a spectator. It would be so cool if you could add the time and speed to each race somehow. Those nitro beasts really fly! How fun!

Love the content. Question though? What’s with the holding it and tapping the throttle before the launch? I don’t see the wheels making contact so I assume it’s not for a burnout/warming the tires up. The pickup is mf clean 😮‍💨

We call it airing it out. 2 stroke engines use gasoline mixed with oil. If the car sits idling for too long the oil will bog the engine down so when we air it out we are prepping the run for the perfect fuel/oil mixture for the launch.
