It’s EXPENSIVE, just like real cars--seriously. To be competitive- which u would want to be. I got into rc racing again to avoid tkts/repairs from street racing and laughed because it’s EXACTLY THE SAME. Didn’t save a crap. But it is something I can do with family instead of by myself.

Thanks bro. What a lot of people don't understand is I'm a racer that records. Lol. It's hard for me to get every angle and every aspect of the race. I try to get the announcer when he gives the time and mph but sometimes during qualifiers they don't announce it. You can hear it a bit more clearer on the next video of eliminations. I'm trying to get a bit of what we go thru before my next race to get prepared for. Thanks for commenting!

In the late 80's early 90's a company named New Era built ¼ scale dragsters, the Top Fuel cars were 7ft long. For some reason it never took off.

Yeah I heard of them. Maybe they were too expensive or really few places to run them. In the 90s I was running 10th scale off-road and nitro boats. I never heard of 1/4 scale until I was a bit older and they were crazy expensive. Now entry 5th and 1/4 price is more attainable

You can get the cars and parts from Floyd Vick Chassis or Primal RC. Depending on which car you want to run. I post all the races here on KZbin in my YT page community tab. Before video games... this kind of hobby is the roots of America back in the 1960, 1970's, and 1980's. Father's with their son's with their model boats, airplanes, and race cars. I even seen tanks and submarines back then. Creating, building your own, and repairing your own model... that's innovative minds working. It was pretty cool then, and even better now.
