Dude! That car is fast!!! Your boy can drive!!! Love it! Whete do I find more about the build? Cam only really means valve springs, pushrods, trunion upgrade or rockers. I'm building a 79k mile gen 5.3 with a .632 218 @.050 cam a had custom ground for his C5 but never used it. I've got a set of 20k mile 241's with a set of fresh PAC .660 springs that went 12.40's in a Camaro SS a week before I bought the heads don't know if it's worth it to find some 243's or 706's.I've ported a ton of gen 1 sbc heads but never LS heads, was going to at least do some bowl work or the 241's

Sounds like what you’re building will be a fun car. If you are going for max power a cam with 218 duration @ 0.050 is fairly mild. But may be a good choice to maintain bottom end and better drive ability. This Mustang is my Brother in laws car, if you have a specific question I could ask him.

@@DynoandDragyChannel I paid $200.00 for the cam that is brand new, I paid $200.00 for a brand new holley single plane intake, $200.00 for the 241 heads with 20k miles and brand new pac .660 lift springs, and $450.00 for the short block delivered, $199.99 for new LS7 lifters and new liftee trays and $199.99 for new rockers with trunioin upgrade and new stands from Mid Michigan Motorsports. I'm just wondering if it's worth the money to go to 706's. It's all about the money

It’s a TKO600 that has been faceplated, 5th gear removed and the gear set was REM polished.

Has alot more then cam sunshine, full bolt ons plus in a purpose build, what do u expect, seems what my fox does with all bolt ons

“Cam only” is a term that implies full bolt ons as well. Putting a big cam in an otherwise completely bone stock car would be pointless.

It was a stock Fbody flywheel and a Fbody parts store replacement type clutch. Used an adjustable TOB, retained the mustang cable clutch setup.
