I have had several E bikes. The fastest I have ever went was 42 mph, downhill. When he put that bike in mode 3 it looked crazy on camera. I actually got goosebumps watching it. I felt your happiness, it took hard work to achieve that. Congrats on the build, stay safe and God bless.

I have a class 4 ebike too lol max ive hit was 39mph on flat road but thats on a fresh charge for maybe 5 miles range give or take, after that it just does 34mph range sometimes 36, but even when you let go of the throttle it can stay cruising without dropping speed

Homemade is king, I've got a shopper, 1500 watt back wheel hub motor, a huge speed controller with a 48 v batt. It does 50mph. Range is not that good though, but I only use it round town running errands so I don't need the range. Your bike is a beast fella, I love it.

I remember a few months ago when you first built this bike and said it had a 400+ amp controller I did the math and guessed it would have a theoretical top speed of 110-115 mph. 105 mph is very close good job bro.

Yeah people that doubted it haven't been on one of these bicycle. I had a 100 amp and now 200 amp and even the 100 amp could get into the high 50's, i know the 200 amp one can do 70, but I keep it around 45

There are a lot of 8000 -12000 watt E-bikes with the same Fardriver controller on KZbin that should "theoretically" go over 100 mph, but none have.

I had to come back to this video cause I plan on building a bike with the same specs. 103 is crazy impressive and the rider even has the exact same helmet Icon Airflite as me just a different design/color. I also noticed in the comments he passed and that’s an absolute tragedy I’m sorry to hear that and I send his family my condolences. He’s an excellent rider and it’s a shame he lost his life he’s one of many motorcycle and e-bike riders inspiring me to pick up two wheels again. Also...hub motors for life! So smooth...and if you put one on the front too, the weight balance is much like a motocross. Hubs are so smooth and quiet compared to mid drive. I started with mid drive and then started playing with hubs and will never go back to mid drives. These hubs are just so nice. The only reason I still have pedals is to appease the piggies. Hills? Pfff...I live in an escarpment town with huge hills and I NEVER pedal lol. The other day I stopped dead in the middle of the biggest hill in town just to test..and it accelerated no issue right up the hill. Mid drive would have done it, but with gear shifting and much slower without pedalling. Plus...I havent seen many 10,000+ Watt mid drive setups...would destroy your bicycle drivetrain lol

Lol heck yeah direct drive is awesome, once you get above 1500w they get crazy powerful the only reason I choose the bike platform is to satisfy the pigs lol

Last memo, a wind shield will increase mph ( depending on wind strength) by 3 to 5 mph I believe. They have them or just custom make. Ill be adding one too.
