Sadly my poor NISMO bumper fell off so i had to finish the video without it i got two pulls in with the bumper on and then two without it and honestly you can really notice and bad air flow and force against the car when i was speeding but the bumper will be going back on real soon so no worries everyone hope you guys enjoy the video SLAP THAT LIKE BUTTON THANKS!

I ran my Z with the intakes exposed for a few weeks with when I was waiting on paint for my Nismo bumper. The intakes love it but it hurts us on the top end because it adds drag. Definitely race with the Nismo bumper on because it adds downforce instead of drag. Keep up the vids bro 🖤

@@NickStaxz sheesh how did it fall off? Did you not have it on properly?
@NickStaxz2 жыл бұрын
Sadly my lazy ass self only had it held on by the plastic clips just to get the car to tampa for the tune so the intakes wouldn’t get wet on the way back home and it was holding on perfectly but i guess with some major speed and full sends them clips couldn’t hang 😂
@NickStaxz2 жыл бұрын
Im just blessed and happy the bumper didn’t get damaged because they were connected to the fender liners but lemme tell you the fender liners are toasted

@@NickStaxz sheesh so you didnt put the 2 bolts on both sides that connect to the fenders? Thats what really holds the bumper up with the clips to keep it in place haha the bottom part that connects to the splash gaurd aint that important lol

i literally have the exact same setup on my 2007 almost. got admin intakes, but i also have ported eps throttle bodies. i need to fix a few things and get her retuned this year hopefully. got a deatsch dw300 340 lph fuel pump, bosch 550 cc injectors and an frp ready to installed as well. cant wait. id highly recommend the upgraded throttle bodies, the throtltle response time is crazy. also 330 or 350 whp?

Just outta curiosity why did u go with isr longtubes over shorty headers
@NickStaxz2 жыл бұрын
Honestly a couple reasons 1. I didn’t wanna buy test pipes and headers when i got 2-1 2. Less exhaust leaks since its just one long pipe 3. The sound & tone is amazing they scream 4. The best for last but i got them for a steal price locally lmfao
@AlejandroCod19762 жыл бұрын
@@NickStaxz believe it or not shorty headers tend to be better for hrs and de, their cams are small so they don’t take full advantage of exhaust scavenging. I like them cause shorty headers sound like a race car lol
@NickStaxz2 жыл бұрын
Yeah honestly the main reason i went longtubes is because i got them for a super steal locally and didn’t feel like also having to buy new test pipes! Shorties do sound better in my opinion tho!
@Brando_Z332 жыл бұрын
@@AlejandroCod1976 that might be true for DEs my guy but the broader powerband and difference in torque delivery on the HR is able to take more advantage of the exhaust design with longtubes. What you’re saying is true for DE motors because they naturally produce more torque and longtubes tend to dampen low end torque a bit. Reputable tuners like Martin and admin would be able to further back this with R&D. The design of a header and materials used are more important than the form factor and that’s for both longtubes and shorties.
@AlejandroCod19762 жыл бұрын
@@Brando_Z33 I figured somebody would say that. You are correct longtubes do help out for top end and you do trade in some midrange. However from what I’ve seen based on graphs and research shorty headers in my opinion tend to perform better on hr de. My buddy had isr longtubes then he switched to some z1 shorty headers and actually gained 3 whp up top and more midrange just by switching to shortys. While this isn’t the case for most hr, I’ve also seen that hrs tend to be better at roll racing w shorty headers. Yes longtubes are good but I’d stick w shortys unless it’s a vhr 🤷♂️
