This is an awesome 3 inch. I know dolmafpv won a couple big races with it recently. I kinda wanna get one to add to all my betafpv quads and to race it. It’s more powerful than my gtb339 and alot faster. Love the Ratel cam in this thing!

I brought this drone from the BetaFPV site and right out of the box this drone only sung 3 start up notes. The camera worked but that's about it. I've contacted BETAFPV on their site where they brag about their great service but it's been a week with no reply from their website or email. BTW it was 3s 450 battery. I'm sure it's the $60 control board on this thing that is faulty. I hope BETAFPV sees the post and I want to warn others watch out for BETAFPV service. I don't have the skills to replace the board so I'm stuck. Sorry to vent on your channel as I'm sure it's a great drone

The motors are highly efficient and the tune on it from betafpv was superb 👍 The only thing it needed was the addition of a buzzer.

gutted out my diatone gt369 for its mamba f722 mini stack + esc + vtx... dumped it on a twig xl frame with iflight xing 1404 4600kv... gemfan 3018 biblades... kind of a dream to fly

Not now a days. Firmware and parts have come along a long way the last few years. I just got the Flightone/Diatone gtb339 and love that thing and now wanting to get this betafpv one or at least upgrade my hx100 to the 115 or this 3” rig. Plus with the fc and firmware that beta uses you can run Flightone FalcoX on it. 👍

I've been a big supporter of 5" quads and have over 15+ builds in 5" category.. For over 4 years its all I've flown, but recently in early November i purchased the BETAFPV HX115 and I have beaten the absolute hell outta this thing around my shop and I cannot believe, that not only the durability of the thing is outstanding but the performance is on par with most, if not all of my 5" builds..I will ve buying this twig to add to my collection for sure.. So if your on the fence, I definitely recommend u try the 3" class out and you'll be extremely surprised.. It's not just hype, it's real! Lol

Another awesome thing to do to it is upgrade the firmware to Flightone FalcoX. Sure it’s $15 for the license but sooooo worth it. I’ve got the gtb339 from Flightone and love it. Thinking of doing the same to my hx100 when I upgrade it to a 3”. Just not sure I want to use 1204 motors or the 1404 motors just yet. Wanna keep it light.

5:20 was a nice little maneuver. You've gotten noticeably better. Also I wonder why they didn't use the baby Ratel to save even more weight. The baby still performs awesome imo.

Great review Justin. HOw much room does it have for a different camera like a split looking for onboard dvr install. Mine arrives on saturday this week. Cant wait. The Stock camera was good but I want better and I dont mind spending a little bit more for better footage. Thanks. Fly it like you stole it.

Interesting review. But 15 to 1 thrust/weight ratio? I would be curious to know how you computed that number. I would bet that with that dry weight this quad is probably not even reaching 10 to 1 ratio on 4s. I ll try to find some thrust tests of these motors to check that.

Do you have the access version?if so you will need access frsky receiver,if remote is not the access version of taranis you can get non frsky receiver"be diligent on research to make sure you get right combo to limit headaches"GOOD LUCK👍

Im just about to put those on the mutant frame its there 4inch ...my et5 will be here Thursday and slappin 1507 eithix rats on it there isnt put one prop that is tmount 5inch so i wanted to go with something that i coupd use more than just byblades but ive heard the echo of hq is putti g on some tri blade tinch tmounts witch could be very interesting

Hey Bro Thanks ill also got one, and it's amazing. Dammed it's Fast!!!, and also nice to freestyle. My Only question is about the props. I'll got some gemfan 3028's winddancers and it's kind of to much. Strange sound. And high amp's.🤯 Do you have a suggestion? Should I stay with the 3016's orginal props? It fly's great on them. But usually my winddancers are my props of choice. For 4 inch at least. Thanks for all the info you spread. Keep up the great work. Peace from Austria Steve

Hey Justin, I just got one of these the 12a version. Flew 3 batteries before work an hour ago. Last flight I hit a towel on the washing line, slow crash, no damage. Now I get no tone when i plug the battery in. Everything looks perfect, esc shows in bf but no motor spin. Video is fine and when I arm the quad, my osd shows it armed and throttle input shows on osd but no motors. Has the esc died in the aio? Any ideas? It was so awesome for the batteries it worked. But expensive for only 3 flights
