J0ekerz: I came up on my own with a similar but different design that has some advantages. First for the trident killers, why build so amazingly huge trident killer? You can just spam many tridents into a smaller trident killer, mine has a single trident killer (of a different design where pistons push more or less in a circle with a 2x2 "kill chamber") and just spammed tridents in there until it killed fast enough for my farm. I do damage the mobs with fall damage as well though, might depend on simulation distance how well mine works as I would tipically idle a little further than with your designs. Also I didn't use flint and steel at all. I used firespread and constantly updating lava. That is kinda a bug so no guarantee that my design will keep working but it has survived several major updates allready, build it in 1.17, still works fine in 1.20. The constantly updating lava does mean though, that my on/off clock mechanism is more than 1 wide so I can fit less portals though I span the same amount of chunks would be interesting to do proper analysis of the outputs of both, output does seem to scale both with amount of portals and the speed you switch it on of. I have less portals but I think mine should switch them on off more rapidly. Disadvantage on how I build mine is also that I don't care what happens if you turn the farm off and some portals might be off and have the water dispensed, others might be on. And I think yours is more lagfriendly, which wasn't an issue for me, most of my lag in my industrial district comes from other things and I don't really notice any lag at all from the farm I have, though less potent devices might. If I ever get a completely free day without any work or activities with my wife and kids, I might just build yours and mine and an improved version of mine with some of your ideas and make a propper Test on how fast they are.

You don't have to build it again, there should be a world download in the description. I haven't played 117 or beyond but I know a few changes are that you can use powdered snow instead of water, and the reason for the multiple trident killers was intended to shorten the time The Pigman or gathering. Instead of funneling them living for a long time, I put them into trident killers very quickly in addition to the style diversity items and XP to a single location for filtering out the items and collecting the XP. Also about using the lava, this design was intended to work in worlds where fire tick and fire spread are turned off. Are used to play in a community where these options were turned off so that peoples builds wouldn't be consumed in fire. Alternatively besides using Flinton steel, this works for fire charge as well.

@@J0ekerzRedstoneDesigns Yeah, I know that many multiplayer servers/worlds/realms have firespread of because even unintentionally it can do quite some harm. I'm mostly playing single player survival, when I play multiplayer it's usually java edition and not bedrock.

Is there a tutorial on building just the large portal system? I have the clock i just can't see how to connect them all to the 16 portal ine

I do not have a tutorial on the large farm but there is a world download. If you are unable to download the world on the first clock where the comparator comes out I just continue that signal one repeater at a time around the farm. So only the first clock needs a comparator

For the new clock is the repeater supposed to be on 2 delay

The repeater on the new clock can go from 1 to 4 depending on how fast you need it to be. On two portals or less you can even take the repeater out

This farm is a bit older 1.16-ish. Yes it really did work that well and there is a download not sure how it works in the current game
