Und bei uns wir bei einem (4x4)+1 Block bereits das Map Feld geändert. Außerdem muss man das Grid-Verhalten, wie es scheint, in Länge und in Breite austesten. ​@@BenXC Hi Ben, Kann es sein dass das Spiel einen Patch bekommen hat um das am Eiland zu verhindern? Selbst wenn ich größere Flächen (10x10 freifläche + 20x20 stacheln) mit passendem untergrund mache, wie in Hammerholm, funktioniert das am Eiland nicht wenn die Figur in diese "Box" hinein blickt. (Hammerholm ja, Eiland nicht). Ich hab das Gefühl dass dies nicht mehr funktioniert (von deinen videos am eiland) nicht mehr funktioniert, weil es rausgepatcht wurde. kannst du das bestätigen?? Falls sehr tiefe ausführliche erklärungen nötig sind, wär es super wenn du das in zwei sprachen machen kannst.

Here's another tip, it seems its possible to forcibly expand your villigers area of activity, was doing my 2rd playthrough and was told to build a chapel, I decided to place it on the edge of activity without realizing (2 block lines of blueprint were outside), I decided to leave it once I noticed just to see if it would still accept the mission as complete, once it did I then tore it down only to notice it had expanded the area of activity for my people

Love your videos. I hope you're still playing. Also, just wanted to note that you can build a cotton trap on Defiled isle with flame traps. Using your 20 block rule and placing it near the raven lunatic spawn. I got 114 in 15 minutes.

You could always use the slime rocks blue and orange for slimes/she-slimes and surround with traps. I noticed a few things other than making tiles that will spawn monsters. With this method too it will probably spawn even more!

The best place to grind levels is probably the King Metal Slime in Defiled Isle Just equip the Poison Needle and he goes down pretty easily, you're guaranteed one level up each time you beat him.

hi ben, thanks for the mob grinder vid its helped me with getting meat for the breeding, and about not building a room due to spawn blocking, a way around that is leave a bottom corner missing so its not counted as a complete room. or in my case, block it with part of a workbench so monsters cant get in, but still not counted as a complete room.

Place target monster tiles under spikes. (Eg. Grass tiles under spikes=bunnies/slimes) This worked for me. I have not tried other tiles though. Let me know if it works.

I Can't tell you how annoying they are when you are trying to finish the Cerulean Steps castle. Every time I try to build the walls higher, I catch the attention of a Chimera, who knocks me off the wall with frizz. They stay out of reach until your at ground level. Then you beat them, climb back up to finish the wall, just to anger another one a minute later.

Forgot a trap, for the flames just build a staircase towards the area where you stand, about 5-7 blocks in just shove some water at the top, combine that with square of zap traps 15 blocks apart from each other with a hole in front of them for water to fall into, leaving the main floor exposed while killing off the flames that are immune to zap traps, everything else will be killed normally, if you leave a 1block gap in middle of the zap traps om each side you can easily grab the drops without anything big escaping, a ledge just outside with zap traps either side will catch anything small that gets pushed out

Ich meine mal in einem deiner Videos mitbekommen zu haben, dass man irgendwie irgendwo sehen kann, was genau die Bewohner der eigenen Insel für ihre persönlichen Räume haben wollen... 😅 Also man kann ja die Atmosphäre jedes Raumes durch drücken des Touch-Pads ersehen. Aber kann auch irgendwo nach schauen was die Bewohner für ihr Räume wollen oder was der Raum für eine Atmosphäre haben soll. Denn wenn man ja einen Bewohner einem Raum zu teilt, erscheint ja ein Haus-Symbol mit 3 Punkten drin.

Small question since I have noticed some people in the DQB2 community make smaller islands a bit farther from their own AoI would this work if say I made an island(s) far from my base, i notice crabs tend to spawn near the shores in the water which hurts the spawn rate for mobs like ShellSlimes but hardly nothing spawns in deep deep water (unless you are under/in the water) Please do let me know :3 would be nice to have a farming island we can fly to

What exactly at the mechanics behind happiness and what all uses can villagers/animals/monsters have? I mean, I know that you need max happiness to breed pets and you can raise it for animals over time by putting them in an animal pen with food, but once they get to 100% will it degrade over time? What does happiness do for villagers and monsters? What all rooms/workstations/etc. can villagers and monsters interact with to do stuff? Are there any "unmarked" things or items that befriended monsters will do or drop that's not indicated in the villagers page (like the zombies say they'll make booze, etc., but is there anything like that that isn't listed)? There's a lot of really cool interactivity and fine details in this game that the first one didn't have, but the game is so obtuse and obscure about sharing a lot of it... Information on the game is unfortunately still sparse at this point (at least in the US) and you're one of the few actually useful, definitive sources on it!

Man I feel your pain, I got luckier then some and only had to kill 163 to get it but I learned something interesting with them. They can only spawn 1 at a time and there is a timer after you kill one, before the next will spawn. I ended up just leaving the island after each kill and returning. It was faster that way.

if you were to set it up on an explorer's shore it should work, but you'd have to set it up every time you wanted more
