due to a serious heart condition and a hypoxic brain injury, i have to give up motorcycling at the ripe old age of 72. with stiff shoulders a aching back and dodgy knees i managed my final laps on my sons awesome Ducati V4 Panigale. my failing eyesight and excessive flatulence didn't slow me down as its a extremely fast lap.
thanks to all the friends for all the great times we've had over the years i have been coming to the nurburgring.

I have known Mick for a number of years through football. One of the first things he always likes to talk about other than football is his times in Germany. I was also at the football tournament where he collapsed in front of me when we had just finished a match. He is a unique person and just has no fear. The video shows his skill and the love for speed. I lookforward to playing football again soon

@@oldbutfast9600 It teaches... and not only about riding a motorcycle, but more about driving in front of life... This is already impressive... I saved your video 'as soon as I saw it'... And now, I just passed your link to several serious and good followers... of the Nürburgring... which, also with traffic... 'hallucinate at times by car between '07:18 and 07:39''... And, what not then... ( I don't know why... ) and 'I've known him for a long time'... I just subscribed... I'm over sixty-three and a half... and, although I don't think I'll match him... I also give mine as much gas as I can... 'It will be like that as long as I can'... And the legs of my trestles are tired of being filed in the first corner... Some good blows... Only two strong... And in the last, 'in the mountains'... about eleven years ago, left clavicle and five ribs... Two hundred and sixty kilos, that dragged me with them on a very silly front brake lock... and one hundred and forty-nine horses, all begging for free rein and I'm very happy to give it to them... ( my second ZZR 1.100... [ I miss them, few so much... very fast and 'very, very comfortable'... ; one or two mounted and 'going up there'... and one or two smiling... ; 'even in the mountains many others and many other motorcycles gave way'... ; less heavy and faster... but 'they are what they are for'... and they don't allow me those 'cruisers'... ] ) I don't count 'my battles'... except by level of piloting... ( and I don't know... ; I have not lived it at the Nürburgring... I would very much like... and I do not renounce anything... ) I feel... and I speak to an equal... to whom, 'for speak with facts'... 'don't need words'... however not rejecting a conversation with something good for the body in front of the fire... Quite an honor for me... I needed to pay him my personal tribute... Very long and good life for you !...

@@jeddmow I'm of the opinion its either in you or it isn't, especially on the street, I pass far too many these days on expensive hardware who quite obviously don't have much of an idea and the faster they go the less idea they have. I've toned it down over the last couple of years due to needing spectacles now but its second nature to belt through the twisties in my local hills and valleys, I get more worried if I have to use our motorways these days as nobody appears to be paying attention to what they're doing on them other than following the brake lights of the goon in front. I'd advise a couple of track days with a pro for you lot stateside as most of the accidents I see on here are simply due to being green as grass when it comes to bikes and hard cornering, possibly having all those automatic cars too, we tend to learn how to use gears to our advantage here, wrong gear, tight bend isn't a good combination on bike or car.

Excuse my crass profanity but it's the only thing to describe what I've just watched, FARRRRRRRRRRRK ME!!! You must have pretty good circuit knowledge of the 'ring but even then, FARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRK ME!! I'm in my senior'ish years but I still like to get a move on, but, I decided to give up hyper sport bikes some years ago, logic being that my licence was at serious risk and how much longer could I trust my reactions and visual perception??!! So I just have an MV 750S Brutale now for my 2 wheel speed thrills! Having watched this though, and realising the challenges you've overcome, I feel a bit of a wuss!! So, should I get a Panigale??!!
