Fastest propagation method of Vinca /Sadabahar

Vinca or Periwinkle can be propagated very fast in water only. You can multiply this Sadabahar by dipping and keeping the Cuttings in water only.
It will take around 10 days to develop Roots in the cuttings.

Tyvm! You did an excellent job, especially with close ups, ty for that. I could really see everything, and ty for the added printed words, even though I could understand you. Many foreign videos I can’t understand. I bought mine as a baby at hardware store. Mine is white with a tiny red center. Prettiest periwinkle I’ve seen. The red and pink I always see. However the store hasn’t had the white anymore so I’m going to try this method. I usually don’t have luck propagating from a cutting but I’m going to try. Do u have a video on how to prune these plants? Mine is picture perfect I wish I could share a photo here. Ty again. Most videos that r helpful to me, I’m assuming ur Indian, forgive me if I’m wrong, are always the most helpful.

Hello :) I just tried this, and I think it depends on the mother plant really. If it's a healthy mom plant then there are better chances for roots. Even within a healthy plant, not all cuttings will root at the same pace or even at all. So I took quite a few cuttings, and not all of them developed roots. One rooted under 10 days, the other took nearly a month but has beautiful long roots now and the other two didn't show any signs of roots even after 20/30 days. I'd suggest taking as many cuttings as possible from different parts of a healthy plant. Hope that helps :)

Hi, I tried this but did not get any roots even after 14 days. Is November a bad time to do this? I did not use blade but used pruning scissors to make the cut on the stem. Rest o followed exact procedure. What mistake did I make? Now I have planted the cuttings in pot hoping to get roots.
