We are trying to get faster RAID to capture 4k DPX files from our Film Scanner with Streampix camera capture software. Believe it or not, it's not fast enough....We are using the Asrock motherboard with 3 Nvme slots as well as their Quad M2 pci-e card. 7 Nvme SSD in RAID in our Threadripper system.

I liked the video, and after reading the comments, I think you have pretty good candor.

Look at the QNAP 672XT with 2 NVME slots onboard. With SSDs in all 6 bays. With Thunderbolt 3 and 10 GBE. Mine arrives today.

Limelight Muskoka sounds promising! I have a Qnap , but the 10GBe is the bottleneck, need 40gbe to take advantage of the Nvme drives.... SSD raid isn’t particular fast. The new potential 4x4 Nvme raid will be fastest and expensive .

CinePost I think you would be better off using Thunderbolt 3 with 6 SSDs and the NVME’s for cache.

My Raid- 0 runs at 24,000 MB's reads and 20,000+ MB's write speeds. I built it 18 months ago. Quad Samsung 980 PRO 2TB PCIe NVMe Gen4 with an ASUS Hyper M.2 X16 PCIe 4.0 X4 Expansion Card.

That’s awesome! I just upgraded to some Asus Hyper Rog cards that work with my new motherboard . But alas it only does 11000 MBs with two Gen4 Nvme . What motherboard do you have?

Please don't mislead people !!! My result is established on external Thunderbolt 3, not on internal .... and that's a big difference. On the internal, me and many people have done about 10,000 MB/s . You didn't do well. I have the impression that you cannot read the text with understanding. Do not propagate lies, please. Thanks

Your video was very good. Some people are raving about the Thunderbay 4...your solution is much better. Congrats on the great results.

This is not about my video ... You misjudge my work. Then you ignore my result and that your number is much better than my result. This is not OK and it is not true in reality. It is much more difficult to get the result that I showed and it costs a lot more money than on an internal RAID. You are a PC user and I am an Apple user. Most Apple users have computers that are unable to use RAID 0 with internal large RAID, e.g. Mac Mini, Macbook Pro, iMac etc. You should not do such comparisons because it makes no sense. You should put your videos where the same topic is. You will get respect when you compete honestly and in the same discipline. My result is still the best in the world as "EXTERNAL THUNDERBOLT RAID". Your score is good but not the best! The best and fastest internal RAID is over 12000 MB/s ! ....in the title of your video is: "Fastest RAID yet!..." ??? hahahahahaha.... Your video shows differently that you have the best result - AND YOU JUST LIE! In my opinion, you should fix this mistake ... sorry, but that's the truth.

Please read the title of my video again - "Fastest External SSD NVME M.2 RAID The Best Setup - 2020 World Record" ...external not internal... Try to beat my score on external Thunderbolt equipment NOT internal :) Thank you :))))

Andy, you've done a great job. I was just chiming in with an alternative situation. It would be great to show the internal solution as well for your many fans.
