+Gaurav Hegde : Do NOT confuse engine power MEASURED AT CRANKSHAFT VS. POWER AT REAR WHEEL. They are two different measurements. ******** 27 HP is the power at the crankshaft. However, some power is lost as it reaches via primary chain, clutch, transmission, drive chain to rear wheel. The REAR WHEEL power is 19 HP. That is what counts. That is the power which hits the road surface. ****** You should see my other video of DYNO Testing of my G5 done at our local testing center. ******* 19 HP at the REAR WHEEL has been confirmed many times in US with several RE 500 cc EFI UCE motorcycles from east coast to west coast.

Yes I do know about power losses. I meant 27hp at crank n not at rear wheel.

Hello Singh Bhaji, Today I Want To Share An Issue Which I am facing with my classic 500 EFI, Hope I Will Get Some Good Suggestion. I Have Driven A Few New UCE Bullets, I Came To Know That My Classic 500 Is Much More Noisy Than Any Other RE Bike, Engine Producing Tick-Tick Sound And A Sound Like Hammer Which Is More Irritating. But The Good Part Is, Performance Doesn't Seem To Be Affected, Considering Its 5 Years Old Bike And Have Rum 25000 KMs. It Can Easily Reaches 100 KM/H In 6 To 7 Seconds, No Smoke Is There As Well. I Complained About Engine Noise In RE Service Centre, Their Mechanic Said That Classic 500 Produces This Noise So Not To Worry But Yesterday One Of The Guy In RE Said That Engine Overhauling In Required. Can you please tell me should I go for engine overhauling or not? If yes, will it affect performance and mileage ?
