Astronomers have just found the fastest star (S4716) with the shortest orbital period EVER found, around the Sagittarius A* supermassive black hole. And it's intense.

The crazy thing is in the star S4716 wasn't orbiting Sgr A* prior to 2022. It suddenly appeared to form from out of the blue. It's not a captured star. It's a young star, less than 2 years old created by the supermassive black hole. The star S-02 is also a young star, less than 100 Earth years old.

Seeing as Earth is some 25,000 light years from this particular black hole, your comment is completely ridiculous. While newly discovered perhaps, these stars are thousands of years old based on the speed of light.

Hello Ardit, Thank you and the crew for another excellent video, Have you heard about the, Thirty Meter Telescope {TMT}? It is an under-construction extremely large telescope {ELT} that has become controversial due to its planned location on Mauna Kea, On the island of Hawaii, The TMT would become the largest visible-light telescope on Mauna Kea. If you're not familiar with it, Wikipedia has all the 411 on it, I saw it last night on another channel, looking forward to your next video and wish you well. 👍

Yes, of course, I know about TMT. Can't wait for its construction to be done. It looks so futuristic. Man, we are advancing. The 12th is almost here, and those pics are gonna be beautiful. Thank you for spreading positivity, dear friend.

Can you imagine what the night sky would look like on a planet close to the center of our galaxy? Probably bright enough to read by.. I hope they poke a view from Jimmy in that direction.. There gonna post some new pictures from him on the 12th I think.. and it is movie time today.. I usually get home by 4:30 pm that is about 7:30 you time.. look for an email shortly after that.. Take care brother.. it is about to be summer here.. 90's this week end.. sheesh!

Do we know how old the stars are around Sagittarius A* and their type. As in are they mainly white/yellow dwarves or red giants etc

The stars are extremely young compared to the rest of the stars in the galaxy. S-02 is estimated to be around 1 million years old.

@@BigNewGames Is there any explanation as to why they're so young?
@BigNewGames
@BigNewGames Жыл бұрын
@@bilogskii2216 In 2021 ALMA Radio telescope reported that they measured outflows in the dense gas located near the supermassive black hole. They said this happens when stars form in the gas. When the stars begin to shine they begin to radiate a stiff solar wind that blows the gas away from the star. The outflows of gas meant a star was recently birthed. Astrophysicists recently discovered matter in the Milky Way to be moving away from the supermassive black hole in every direction instead of moving closer to it via accretion. As the matter get further away from the black hole it accelerates faster and faster. Our solar system is receding away from the supermassive black hole and about 900,000 mi/h (1,443,600 km/h). The bodies further from the black hole are receding away faster yet. The satellite galaxies are receding away at over a million mi/h. The youngest bodies are birthed near the supermassive black hole while the satellite galaxies are the oldest bodies in the galaxy. If we were to reverse time in a thought experiment the all the matter in the Milky Way after 13.7 billion years returns to the black hole where everything was birthed. This contradicts everything we've been taught about the evolutionary process of the universe, a big bang, cosmic inflation, stars forming then gravitating towards the dense locations to form into galaxies, general relativity and even the laws of thermodynamics. Everything was debunked when astrophysicists measured the motion of the bodies in the Milky Way accelerating rapidly away from the supermassive black hole. Every galaxy in the universe formed from the inside out, not the outside in.

Stars move very fast around a black hole because of the black hole's stronge gaviry pushing the stars with such power that the star start to move very fast. Becarful because the black hole will throw stars in everywhere so you get hit by a star moving very fast.

Being as of late, we're observing some pretty amazing things. Ergo, it wouldn't be completely surprising if there were planets within orbit around these types of stars - that being said, their true nature and observed behavior would no doubt be totally surprising and fascinating! JWST, anyone?
