One of the things I most appreciate about this tutorial is that you treat the hypothetical opponent like an equally competent fighter rather than a vegetable. Some people really act like they have a god killer move without acknowledging extremely obvious counters and paths of resistance

That pop tho....triangles like these (including the one you teach from mount) are ones I hit all the time because of your teachings 🙏

Really awesome explanation and demo. Especially the details covering when not to go for it. One cool addition might be to see some highlights of you landing it in live rolling but I still find all your tutorials helpful nonetheless.

I do this by putting knee on belly pressure so they go to push it off, then pin the wrist and fire it

I watched this video over and over again before open mat, and hit this tonight! Thank you so much for the clear instruction. I think I need to work on the mechanics of locking the triangle, but this was awesome 😊

The subtle nuances and intricate details are what makes this such a practical and effective set/transition. In particular the energy of when to throw the leg over and also the positioning of the knee coupled with the backwards weight distribution to finalize the lock. Sharp technique award! 😀

From side control Kimora to side control triangle if they begin to free the hand and avoid the Kimora to scarf if that doesn’t work. Nice

I am a fan. I am not one for watching instrcutionals on KZbin. So much bad coaching - so many incorrect details - so much fluff and bullshit - I rarely bother. Instead - I watch fights, matches, and the odd 'seminar'. But - Brandon is an exception. I rate him - and I think he brings a lot of value to the interwebs. I would be keen to train with him ... have him update me on a few things. Go Brandon! And ... thank you. PS: Might send my kid to do some training with him.
