Just a side note. You can claim to live in Texas by getting a P.O. Box from a private P.O. Box service that gives you a physical address and a P.O. Box number. Most places that officer this service also offer mail forwarding. So when your mail goes to the Texas P.O. Box the company then forwards the mail to your actual address out of state.

UMPI you can graduate in the 8 week term... You need to make sure you can transfer credits to be able and be willing to dedicate many hours a day to studying but for price and time frame, it may be the best option. Reddit has people openly advising others on how to do it
@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway67119 күн бұрын
Yep, totally. If you're cool with a Liberal Studies major that's made up of a ton of Sophia.org courses... this can work. But the 8 weeks doesn't account for all of the outside credits you have to earn. Not a huge fan of Liberal Studies, or Sophia but for a lot of people.. this would totally be enough.

@@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671 I am looking at the Healthcare Administration and definitely struggling to work out how to hack it. Looks so good too but I would only be able to afford two terms max.
@anichols75217 күн бұрын
You can totally get their BBA in MIS and Project Management still in 8 weeks. It doesn't have to be BLS
@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway67116 күн бұрын
@@anichols752 Yep, you're right. There are a couple of options outside of Liberal Studies. For those reading.. take note that 8 weeks wouldn't be the total degree time. This is in reference to time enrolled in the school after transferring in the bulk of your degree from 3rd party credits. For these non-liberal studies majors you'll earn about 40 to 50 gen-ed credits, then about 35 to 40 credits that relate to your field of study. They have to match up with the courses required for the program. Then they'll allot you some flexibility for some electives. A lot of this can be done through 3rd party credits, then "wrapped up" at the school itself in as little as 8 weeks. For those reading, just make sure this type of strategy isn't going to negatively affect you later. For example, if the Grad program you're shooting for doesn't like Sophia credits... don't use Sophia for your undergrad credits. If you map things out properly, it can absolutely work.

I'm considering SNHU and TESU because they have the widest variety of degree options, but, the cost of those schools is holding me back from commiting.
@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway67129 күн бұрын
I'd start with deciding which major you want... then find the best option for that specific major. Even if a school doesn't offer as much variety, they may offer the major you're looking for.

In countries like India and the UK, students often start college at 16, complete an MS by 21, and earn a PhD in just two years-an expedited system designed to streamline education. It makes sense for overpopulated countries like India to prioritize such efficiency. Meanwhile, in the USA, students struggle to secure the four letters of recommendation required for advanced degrees, all while being scrutinized and treated as low-caste workers in their own education system. And then when these international expediated higher degree holders but lowered skill sets, they become the BOSSES of the USA over skilled workers. Ask us about what our bosses do all day? We don't know because they are never at work from 1990s onward.

I’m in a career right now where I’m sort of stuck, and the one thing on my side is seniority and the years I have served with the company. If I am able to acquire a degree it would give me a huge advantage with my company. I lack the college part and degree but I have all the experiences and years served with the company and my own businesses, which they like. I just need the paper to back up my credibility and they would feel a lot better and could actually promote me into the next level of this company.
