Are ckv line always on the outside trackes?

Hi, Evans! Are you thinking about panels with PCBs whose gate lines aren't all visible just before the COF bonding area? Like, if you have 50" or 55" CHOT screens in mind, those don't have all the CKV tracks visible on the PCB just at input to COF. So you'll need to work around the resistors on CKV tracks away from the COF. I hope all that was clear? I have a video in the works to show this.

I have a Samsung 48” with double image. I cut the ckv lines on the right side and the double image was not fix. As you said reconnecting the ckv lines are time consuming and it was. With my amateur equipment I made things worse by burning off tracks on the ckv lines when trying to reconnect them. It’s was frustrating to try so hard to no success. It’s disappointing that a good tv couldn’t be repaired and it just taking up space as junk in a room now.
