Hello. I think this video is a gem as a roadmap for being a front-end developer, just straight to the point. One of the main problems when learning even in school/bootcamp or by yourself is that you can get lost very easy and wonder what you need to learn or if you already have enough knowledge. That can be very discouraging a lot of times and make the learning hardest. In my case I realized thanks to this video I don't need to learn a lot more but practice and practice. I would like to add that Sass it's also an interesting thing to learn and asked for lot of companies. I would also recommend to learn Web Fetch API.

@finlad3768 Жыл бұрын
@@micaelalgarrao6043 I'm a beginner to web dev and I've been watching multiple youtube videos to get different perspectives. From what I understand, front end seems to be the best place to start so personally that's what I'll be doing. Learn HTML/CSS/JS which is the standard for Front End, whereas on the backend there's many more options such as Python/JS/PHP/Ruby/Java which to me makes it more difficult to choose one. I think this guy's video is really clear and to the point though and I like how he gives examples of where to directly go to learn about concepts, which I haven't seen many other youtubers do (apart from shilling their own paid courses).

I agree with the fact that projects really do help you progress- if I can say one thing though, the long bootcamps are great for developing discipline in coding. A lot of people (including myself at one point) try to go through the documentation and online tutorials (w3, etc.) and they usually fall short. The bootcamps don't cover everything and oftentimes they only scratch the surface of a specific topic, but they keep you hooked. I'm close to being done with Colt's updated bootcamp, after that, I'll be taking your advice and focusing on building projects and leveling up my skills. Thank you, and blessings from the US.

You are right that it's highly inefficient to be only learning theory without much "doing". I am convinced and know from experience in other areas that the truth is in the middle. You need a theoretical basis in order to intelligibly apply and "understand" what you are doing. This is how I am doing it: I am switching it up...little bit of theory (reading and watching) and then consciously doing coding...back and forth and so on.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS FINALLY SOMEONE GETS IT!!! I love learning, but I hate learning for just the sake of 'I have the knoweldge" I want to be able to SHOW what my learning can do and practice MAKING stuff. I want to build CONFIDENTLY and competently! Not just memorize a whole bunch of stuff for the sake of the MItOCHONDRIA IS THE POWER HOUSE OF THE CELL.

Can I get job after studying html, css,javascript perfectly.?
@sahilandsarra2 жыл бұрын
It's possible but it's going to be hard in today's market.

I will speak from my personal experience if anybody ends up here. It’s possible but difficult, therefore, I would build your skills further. I picked up on Vue.js, PHP and Laravel and not only were job opportunities much better, but you can negotiate better salaries too.

Hey! I've been following your video for a year, and I'm from Nepal. My tutor advised me to wait until I had a solid understanding of CSS before using the CSS framework, but I still have some issues with that. However, you advise a beginner to understand the CSS framework in your video. What do I need to do? 2.) I want to work as a front-end developer professionally, but I'm just getting started and have no idea what projects to take on. Please advise me on all the projects I should start with in terms of developing into a competent front-end web developer. Thanks

Awesome video thanks for the insightful information, I just started my journey to becoming a front-end developer and switch job careers, Your channel and a few other KZbinrs channels have motivated me to start my journey, I have just started the meta front-end developer course and uploaded my first video as some of the other KZbinrs suggested documenting your journey, any pointers on breaking into the industry after getting enough experience would be greatly appreciated.
